The “Win the Ultimate Tarkine Adventure” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Tarkine Athletics (“Sponsor”).
Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to individuals aged 18 years or older as of the date of entry.
The Sweepstakes is open to participants worldwide, except where prohibited by law.
Employees, independent contractors, interns, officers, directors, and agents of the Sponsor and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers, and immediate family members or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate.
By entering, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and warrant that they meet all eligibility requirements.
Entry Period
The Sweepstakes begins on 08 January 2025 at 12:00 AM AWST and ends on 07 February 2025 at 11:59 PM AWST. Entries submitted after the Entry Period will not be considered.
How to Enter
To enter, participants must complete the official entry form.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning.
Participants may gain additional entries through optional actions as specified on the entry platform (e.g., sharing on social media).
Only one entry per individual is permitted unless explicitly stated otherwise. Multiple entries via different accounts or email addresses may result in disqualification.
Prize
The Grand Prize package includes:
a. 5-Night Stay for Two at Tarkine Wilderness Lodge:
i. Accommodation for two adults for five (5) consecutive nights at the Tarkine Wilderness Lodge, located in Tasmania, valued at approximately $1,800AUD.
ii. The prize is valid for redemption within eighteen (18) months of the winner announcement, subject to availability.
iii. In the event that the price of the stay exceeds $1,800AUD at the time of booking, the Sponsor shall be responsible for the price differential. Conversely, if the price is below $1,800AUD, the balance shall be issued to the winner as credit on their Tarkine.com gift card.
b. Travel Voucher:
i. A travel voucher valued at $1,200AUD, issued through Flightgift.com, to be utilized exclusively for travel-related expenses, including but not limited to airfare and accommodations.
ii. The voucher must be redeemed directly through Flightgift.com. No portion of this voucher may be exchanged for cash or transferred to another platform.
iii. The Sponsor will not provide monetary credit or reimbursement for unused voucher amounts or for travel bookings made outside of Flightgift.com.
c. Tarkine Running Gear Credit:
i. A gift card valued at $500AUD, redeemable exclusively via Tarkine.com, valid for a period of twelve (12) months from issuance.
The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize package is $3,500AUD.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable, and must be accepted as awarded. Substitution of the prize or any prize component is not permitted, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the advertised prize with one of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected by a random draw conducted under the supervision of the Sponsor.
The winner will be notified via email within 7 days of the draw.
If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within 7 days of notification, an alternate winner may be selected.
The Sponsor is not responsible for notifications that are lost, misdirected, or blocked due to email filters.
Prize Conditions
The winner is solely responsible for any expenses not explicitly included in the prize, including but not limited to taxes, gratuities, and personal expenses.
Travel arrangements and bookings must be made by the winner in accordance with the terms provided by the Tarkine Wilderness Lodge and Flightgift.com.
The Sponsor is not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or changes by the Tarkine Wilderness Lodge or Flightgift.com.
The winner must comply with all local and international travel regulations, including obtaining necessary travel documents.
Publicity
By entering, participants grant the Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, and entry content for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
Disqualification
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Terms and Conditions.
Use of fraudulent methods to obtain entries will result in disqualification.
Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, and agents from any liability or damages resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance and use of the prize.
General Conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if circumstances beyond its control compromise the integrity or fairness of the Sweepstakes.
Any attempt by an individual to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may result in legal action.
Disputes
This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of Australia, without respect to conflict of law doctrines.
Any disputes shall be resolved individually, without resorting to class action, exclusively before a court of competent jurisdiction in Australia.
