1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia, aged 21 years of age or older, where the Channel Seven (and affiliates) signal is received (“Entrant”).
2.2 Employees and their Immediate Family Members of the Seven Network (Operations) Limited (“Promoter”), Carnival plc trading as Holland America Line (“Sponsor”), Ansible Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
2.3 In clause 2.2 “Immediate Family Members” includes a spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child or sibling.
2.4 To be eligible to enter, Entrants must also be able to participate in the Prize (as defined in clause 4.1).
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences on Friday, 21st February 2025 at 5:30am AEDT and concludes on Thursday, 27th February 2025 at 12:00pm AEDT (“Competition Period”).
3.2 COMPETITION ENTRY: To enter, during the competition period Entrants must:
• visit the designated Competition page on the Sunrise website (
www.sunrise.com.au) and register their full name, address (including postcode), a valid email address, date of birth and telephone number; and
• submit an answer to the competition question, “Tell us in 25 words or less who you want to take to Norwegian Fjords and why?”.
3.3 Entries must be received by Thursday, 27th February 2025 at 12:00pm AEDT.
3.4 Entrants can enter as many times as they like during the competition period.
3.5 Entrants who have won a prize in any Sunrise competition in the past 12 months are not eligible to win the Prize in this Competition.
3.6 Clauses 3.5 does not apply to South Australian residents, who are eligible to win more than one prize
in a 12-month period.
3.7 The entry must be:
(a) the original independent creation of the Entrant;
(b) written in English; and
(c) free from any claims, including but not restricted to copyright or trademark claims, by other
parties.
3.8 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the Entrant.
3.9 Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive or
inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.10 Neither the Promoter, Sponsor, Ansible Pty Ltd nor any Prize supplier are responsible for any data or other information related to this competition that may be lost or damaged as a result of any computer software or hardware malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer / server/ software problems will be rectified as quickly as possible.
3.11 Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting entries, or the entry will be deemed invalid.
4. PRIZES
4.1 The total prize pool value is up to AU$13,659.00 (incl GST)
4.2 There is one (1) prize to be awarded. The winner will win:
a) One (1) Holland America Line 7-day Norwegian Fjords and Copenhagen Cruise Tour for the winner and one (1) accompanying guest (total 2 people) in a twin/double share room, departing Rotterdam, Netherlands on 13 September 2025 (the ‘Prize’).
The Prize also includes:

4.3 Itineraries and are not guaranteed and onboard offerings are subject to change.
4.4 Award and redemption of the Prize is subject to the winner agreeing to the Annexed Sponsor Terms
and Conditions.
4.5 Prize has no cash alternative, is non-transferable and non-refundable. Travel must be completed on
the dates stipulated in clause 4.2. If prize is not completed during this time, it will be forfeited.
4.6 Winner and companions’ details must be confirmed by Sunday 30th March 2025, in order to book
return flights. If winner has not confirmed details by that date, their prize will be forfeited.
4.7 All elements are subject to availability at time of booking.
4.8 A valid credit card must be presented at cruise check in for incidentals. Tickets are non-transferable
(i.e. no name changes allowed). Once tickets are issued, they are non-transferable. Any alterations to confirmed flights and/or accommodation details will be at the expense of the winner. All components of the Prize must be fulfilled at the same time, and they cannot be split across different time periods. Any changes by the winner made to the specified prize package (including travel extensions, additional guests, etc) will be subject to an administration fee which must be settled in full prior to booking confirmation.
4.9 Once the Prize has been arranged, any changes to the travel, flights, accommodation or scheduling arrangements are at the expense of the Winner and their travelling companions.
4.10 Flights are economy class and may be indirect. The selected airline’s Conditions of Carriage apply to all flights. The Winner and travelling companion must travel at the same time and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest Capital City Airport in Australia. Airline, flight route and dates of travel are subject to the promoter and sponsor’s absolute and final decision.
4.11 Winner and guest travel at their own risk and, if for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
4.12 Winner must obtain their own travel insurance and proof of insurance must be provided before tickets are issued.
4.13 Neither the Promoter, Sponsor nor any Prize supplier accepts responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance or redemption of the Prize, or this Competition. Independent financial advice should be sought by the Winner prior to accepting the Prize. Neither the Promoter, the Sponsor nor any Prize supplier accept responsibility for any variation in Prize value.
4.14 The Winner must provide valid identification to the Promoter upon the Promoter’s request. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the Prize at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
4.15 Subject to state permit authority restrictions, the Promoter may reasonably amend these terms and conditions, orally or in writing, in its absolute discretion.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 This competition is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the Winner.
5.2 Each entrant who has entered the Competition during the Competition Period and registered all
details in accordance with clause 3 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the Competition.
5.3 The Prize Winner will be the best valid entry as judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the
Promoter who is deemed the worthiest, at Seven Network Media City, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh NSW 2015 on Thursday, 27th February 2025 at 12:30pm AEDT.
5.4 The Winner may be announced during the live Sunrise broadcast between 5:30am AEDT and 9:00am AEDT on Friday, 28th February 2025.
5.5 The Winner will be contacted via email and phone call by the Promoter to accept their Prize and organise Prize fulfillment within two (2) business days of the Judging. The Winner will be published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of the Judging.
5.6 The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.7 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequent to a Winner being notified or a Winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the Winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions. In such circumstances, except where the Promotor has selected additional reserve entries as set out above, an additional judging will be conducted.
5.8 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
5.9 The Winner must claim their Prize by midday AEDT on Sunday 30th March 2025. If the Prize is not claimed by that time, an unclaimed Prize judging will take place Seven Network, 8 Central Avenue Eveleigh NSW 2015 Australia on Sunday 30th March 2025 at 12:15pm AEDT.
5.10 The unclaimed Prize winner, if any, will be notified by email and phone call within two (2) business days of the unclaimed Prize judging. The unclaimed Prize Winner must claim their prize within 48 hours of being notified. If unclaimed Prize Winner fails to do so, the prize will be forfeited. The unclaimed Prize winner’s details will be published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of the unclaimed Prize judging.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, COVID 19, pandemic, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to applicable law.
6.2 The Promoter, the Sponsor, and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for Prizes lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 The Promoter, the Sponsor and their associated agencies and companies (including any Prize supplier) will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a) during the judging;
b) in the acceptance, participation or use of any element(s) of the Prize;
c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any
material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other
Entrants or any other person; or
e) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines
or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this Competition.
6.4 The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies assumes no responsibility for any error,
omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to applicable law.
6.5 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to applicable law.

7.3 You agree that the Sponsor will receive personal information of the Entrant by ticking the opt in checkbox on the entry form.
7.4 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Seven Network (Operations) Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) and its related entities (“Seven”), is collecting your personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Competition, including for the purpose of identifying and notifying the prize winners, prize fulfilment and understanding our audiences. 8.1 The Prize is subject to availability. If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable, Sponsor, at its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a prize to substantially equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
8.2 With the exception of any expenses specifically included in the Prize, all: a. costs associated with transport to/from the departure port will be the responsibility of the winner and accompanying guests and will not be borne by the Sponsor; and b. pre and/or post accommodation, shore excursions or other onboard activities, spending money, additional meals, taxes, insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included.
8.3 The winner and their accompanying guests are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary and valid travel documentation including, passports, any requisite visas and vaccinations. The winner and their accompanying guests will be responsible for any expenses incurred in obtaining necessary travel documentation, including any fines or penalties incurred as a result of not having the requisite travel documentation.
8.4 Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If the winner is, for whatever reason, unable to travel within the nominated period, or does not take an element of the Prize within the time stipulated then that element of the Prize will be forfeited by the winner.
8.5 In accepting the Prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests by Sponsor, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, and the winner grants Sponsor a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for use.
8.6 With the exception of the intellectual property rights set out in the Holland America Line Europe Competition and these Sponsor Terms and Conditions, the winner agrees they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.

8.8 The winner must provide valid identification to Sponsor. The winner must be over the age of 21 years (subject to applicable age restrictions). Alcohol consumption and gambling onboard are restricted to passengers aged 21 years of age or older. A credit card imprint or cash deposit will be required from the winner and/or accompanying guests at check-in in order to board the cruise ship, for all incidental charges.
8.9 Sponsor accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the incentive. Independent financial advice should be sought.
8.10 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform including Facebook. Entrants provide information to the Promotor and Sponsor not to any social media platform. Entrants completely release any relevant social media platforms from any and all liability.
8.11 As a condition of accepting the Prize, the winner must sign any legal documentation, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
8.12 Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Sponsor (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Sponsor’s control); b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Sponsor) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor; d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; e) if the cruise is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor; f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or Entrant; or g) use of and/or taking of the prize.
8.13 Sponsor collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and administer the Prize and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and suppliers in the United States and, as required, to regulatory authorities in Australia, New Zealand and the ports of call on the cruise itinerary.
