IN CINEMAS MARCH 6

SYNOPSIS:

In this multi-award-winning tragi-comedy set in London, famed director Mike Leigh reunites with Marianne Jean-Baptiste for a compelling study of human strengths and weaknesses.

The story revolves around Pansy, a hypersensitive woman who constantly criticizes her husband Curtley and adult son Moses, leading to their silence rather than argument. She often picks fights with strangers and shares her grievances with her empathetic sister Chantal. As Pansy’s pain unfolds, the film questions the family’s breaking point, showcasing Leigh’s signature humour and compassion towards these complex characters.
