HOPE Program Mother’s Day Raffle – Terms and Conditions
This raffle is a “draw lottery” under the Community Gaming Act 2018 (NSW) and Community Gaming Regulations (NSW) 2020 and is run by CatholicCare Sydney Limited (CatholicCare Sydney) ABN 38 841 427 747 located at 2C West St Lewisham NSW Australia. The benefiting not-for-profit organisation for this raffle is CatholicCare Sydney for the HOPE Program.
The price of a raffle ticket is $50.
Purchase of a raffle ticket is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is open to all permanent residents of New South Wales.
Entrants are not restricted or limited as to the number of raffle tickets which may be purchased.
Raffle ticket sales will commence on 3 April 2025 and conclude on 1 May 2024 at 2:15pm Australian Eastern Standard Time.
Entrants need not be present at the draw to win. Prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
The draw for the winners will take place on 1 May 2025 at 2:15pm, at Song Bird, 24 Bay St, Double Bay NSW 2028, Australia
The minimum legal age for purchasing raffle tickets is 18. If the winners are under the age of 18 years the prizes will be awarded to their parents or legal guardians.
All winners will be notified by email on the day of the winners being drawn, and the winner’s name will be published on the raffle page. CatholicCare Sydney reserves the right to request winners to show proof of identification suitable for verification prior to the release of prizes to winners.
A list of all prizes and winners will be displayed.
Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier/supplier’s website and are correct at time of printing. All prize values are in Australian dollars.
CatholicCare Sydney shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
CatholicCare Sydney will make all reasonable efforts to locate the winners and deliver the prizes. If any prizes remain unclaimed CatholicCare Sydney will deal with such prizes in accordance with the law.
We respect your right to privacy. We may collect your information for fundraising activities or initiatives. By entering the raffle, you acknowledge CatholicCare Sydney’s Privacy Policy and will allow CatholicCare Sydney to contact you about news, events and general information in relation to the organisation. You may unsubscribe from the CatholicCare Sydney mailing list at any time. Please contact us if you would like to access or correct your information or if you have any enquiries or complaints.
The decision of CatholicCare Sydney is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
If for any reason the raffle is not capable of running as planned, including (but not limited to) causes beyond the control of CatholicCare Sydney, which affect the administration or proper conduct of the raffle, CatholicCare Sydney reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle, subject to any direction given under the regulations.
