Terms and conditions
1. These terms and conditions are an agreement between you as an entrant of
our competition (you) and Hobart International Airport Pty Ltd (ABN 27 080 919 777)
(HIAPL, we, us). By entering into and participating in the competition, you agree to
these terms and conditions.
2. Subject to these terms and conditions, entry into the promotion is free and
open to all persons.
3. If the entrant is under 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s
nominated parent or legal guardian.
4. Employees and immediate families of HIAPL and HIAPL’s retailers, suppliers,
providers and agencies associated with HIAPL (including Flight Centre Travel Group
Limited) and this promotion are ineligible to enter or to be prize recipients.
5. Open to Australian residents only.
6. You have the opportunity to win a $1,000 Gift Card for Flight Centre Travel
Group Limited, valid for 12 months from date of issue. There are no other prizes.
7. Total value of the prize equals $1,000.00 AUD (inclusive of GST). The prize is not
transferable, redeemable or exchangeable for cash.
8. HIAPL does not warrant the acceptable quality and/or fitness for purpose of the
prize. This does not exclude the guarantees that the prize may afford under the
Australian Consumer Law.
9. The competition commences on 11 April 2024 and closes on 20 July 2025 at
11.59pm (AEDST).
10. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions will be
deemed invalid.
11. A winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entrants by lucky dip at
HIAPL’s office on 21 July 2025 at approximately 9am (AEDST).
12. The winner will be contacted by phone and email provided at time of entry by
5pm (AEDST) on 21 July 2025.
13. If the winner does not confirm receipt of such notification within 48 hours of
first being notified, HIAPL reserves the right to redraw from all remaining entries until
a drawn winner confirms receipt of HIAPL’s winning notification.
14. By entering the competition, you release HIAPL, Flight Centre, Instagram and
Facebook from and against any and all claims, liability, demands, losses or expenses
with respect to or arising out of this competition.
15. By opting in to receive travel emails from Flight Centre, you agree to Flight
Centre’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
16. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or
associated with Instagram and Facebook.
17. Personal information provided in entries will be dealt with in accordance with
our privacy policy, a copy of which can be found at the bottom right corner of our
webpage hobartairport.com.au.
18. The laws of Tasmania apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law.
