1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to residents of Australia, 18 years and older, where the Channel Seven signal is received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate family members of Seven Network (Operations) Limited (“Promoter”), The Star Pty Limited (“Sponsor”), and their associated agencies and companies and any Prize suppliers are not eligible to enter.
2.3 In this clause 2.2, a reference to “Immediate Family Member” includes a spouse, defacto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child or sibling.
2.4 Prize Winners (“Prize Winners”) must be able to participate in the prize as stipulated in clause 4.1, to be deemed a valid winner.
2.5 If a Prize Winner is the subject of a Withdrawal of Licence from The Star Sydney, Treasury Brisbane or The Star Gold Coast, they will be deemed invalid and therefore will forfeit the prize in full and a re-judging will take place, as specified in these Terms and Conditions.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition (“Competition”) commences on Monday 21st July 2025 at 5.30am (AEST)
and concludes on Thursday 24th July 2025 at 12.00pm (AEST) (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter, viewers (“Entrants”) must:
a) Visit the Sunrise website and register their full name, address (including state and postcode), email address, date of birth and mobile phone number on the Competition Page; and
b) Submit an answer to the Competition question, “Tell us, in 25 words of less, who you will be voting for the Gold Logie and why?”; and
c) Tick the checkbox to confirm that they are able to attend the Logies on Sunday 3rd August 2025 if they are the lucky winner and can arrange their own travel to and from Sydney.
3.3 Entries must be submitted in accordance with clause 3.2 and received by the Promoter by Thursday 24th July 2025 at 12.00pm (AEST).
3.4 Entrants may enter the competition as many times as they wish during the Competition Period.
3.5 The Entry must be:
a) the original independent creation of the Entrant;
b) written in English; and
c) free from any claims, including but not restricted to copyright or trademark claims, by other parties.
3.6 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the Entrant. The Prize Winners agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use their Entries in all media worldwide and the Prize Winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
3.7 Any Entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an Entry is at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.8 Neither the Promoter nor Sponsor are responsible for any data or other information related to this Competition that may be lost or damaged as a result of any computer software or hardware malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer / server/ software problems will be rectified as quickly as possible.
3.9 Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting Entries, or the Entry will be deemed invalid.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be Five (5) Prize Winners in total throughout the Competition Period who will each be awarded the following Prize:

4.2 Prizes are not refundable and cannot be exchanged, transferred or traded for an alternative Prize
4.3 The Promoter or Sponsor accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance or redemption of the Prize, or this Competition. Independent financial advice should be sought by the Winner prior to accepting the Prize. Prize values are correct as of date of printing. The Promoter and Sponsor accept no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the prize redemption date.
4.4 The Prize must be used on the dates specified in clause 4.1, arriving at The Star Grand Hotel Sydney on Sunday 3rd August 2025. The Prize is based on two (2) adults sharing a King Superior room in accommodation.
4.5 The $250 Dinner for two (2) is single use and only redeemable on Sunday 3rd August 2025 at BLACK Bar & Grill, Sokyo or Cucina Porto restaurants at The Star Sydney, subject to availability.
4.6 Prize inclusions and details are correct as of Friday 18th July 2025, however subject to change without advance notice.
4.7 Prize Winners and their companion may extend their stay at an additional standard cost and subject to availability. The Promoter is not liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of extending the travel and these costs will be borne by the Prize Winners and their companion.
4.8 In the event that an element of the Prize outlined in Clause 4.1 above is, for any reason, cancelled, postponed or not available, that element(s) of the Prize will be considered as forfeited and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of that part of the Prize. If, for any reason whatsoever, a Prize Winner does not take an element of their Prize within the time period stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the Prize will be forfeited by the Winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize.
4.9 In participating in the Competition, the Prize Winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The Prize Winners grant the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the Prize Winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.10 The Prize Winners agree that they will not sell or otherwise make available their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.11 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Prize Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize provider (the Sponsor) and the Promoter’s requirements, including The Star Grand Hotel’s standard hotel terms and conditions.
4.12 The Prize Winners must provide valid identification to the Promoter upon the Promoter’s request. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the Prize at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
4.13 The travel itinerary will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. The Prize must be used only between the dates of Sunday 3rd August 2025 and Monday 4th August 2025. In the event that a Prize Winner is unable to complete the Prize on this date, they will be deemed invalid and forfeit the Prize in its entirety. A re-judging will take place to reallocate the Prize to a valid Winner.
4.14 Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual Prize and service providers.
4.15 Unless specified, the Prize Winners and their companion are responsible for all other expenses incurred including but not limited to taxes, transport to and from the Prize,
accommodation, meals, beverages, interstate travel, air tickets, excess baggage, and items of a personal nature.
4.16 Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating Prize provider(s), if for any reason a Prize Winner does not, once the Prize has been booked, take the Prize (or an element of the Prize) at the time stipulated, then the Prize (or that element of the Prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
4.17 The Prize is subject to availability.
4.18 The Promoter and the Supplier are not responsible for the cancellation, delay or rescheduling of any part of a travel Prize and any costs incurred by the Prize Winner or any travelling companion as a result (including accommodation costs) will be the responsibility of the Prize Winner.
4.19 Spending money, meals, taxes, insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs, unless otherwise specified in the Prize description, are not included. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses related to the Prizes become the responsibility of the Prize Winners.
4.20 The Winners may be required to present valid identification and their credit card at check in at the accommodation for a security deposit, and to cover any damage to the accommodation or incidental charges.
4.21 The Promoter, Sponsor and their associated agencies and companies or any organisation or individual associated with the provision of the Prize(s) make no representation as to the destination, including any safety conditions, travel restrictions, warnings, bans or other issues that may exist at any destination.
5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be Five (5) Prize Winners in total throughout the Competition Period. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the Winners.
5.2 The Five (5) Prize Winners will be judged from all valid Entries received (online) during the Competition period on Thursday 24th July 2025 at 12:30pm (AEST) (“Prize Judging”)
5.3 All Prize Winners will be the best valid Entries as judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the Promoter having regard to authenticity, creativity, and originality.
5.4 The Prize Winners will be contacted by the Promoter via telephone or email within two (2) business days of the corresponding Prize Judging. Once the Prize Winner has accepted their Prize, the Promoter will pass the Winners’ details to the Sponsor to determine the Prize Winners eligibility in accordance with clause 2.5 and liaise with the Prize Winner to gather all details required.
5.5 All Prize Winners’ names (last name, first name initial and postcode) will be published on the Competition website and the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of the final Prize Judging.
5.6 The Winners will receive a phone call or email to the contact details provided in their Entry within two (2) business days of the Prize Judging, which may be filmed and broadcast live on Sunrise on the Seven Network between 5:30am AEST to 9:00am AEST during the Competition Period.
5.7 In the event of an unclaimed Prize, an unclaimed Prize Judging will take place at Seven
Network, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh NSW 2015 on Wednesday 30 July 2025 at 12:30pm AEST.
5.8 The unclaimed Prize Winners, if any, will be notified by phone call or email within two (2) business days of the unclaimed Prize Judging. The unclaimed Prize Winner’s details will be published on the Competition website and the Sunrise website within five (5) business days of the unclaimed Prize Judging. The judges’ decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.9 Incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
5.10 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Prize Winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter or the Sponsor in their absolute discretion.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, pandemic, epidemic, government restraint, or act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition. If, due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute Prize.
6.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, The Star Pty Limited, and their associated agencies and companies will not take any responsibility for Prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost, or misdirected mail.
6.3 The Promoter, Sponsor and Prize suppliers are not responsible for any costs associated with Prize collection.
6.4 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, The Star Pty Limited & affiliates and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a) during the judging;
b) whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their Entry into the Competition; or
c) in the participation in any Prize;
d) because of late, lost or misdirected mail;
e) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
f) in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion; and
g) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to an Entrant's or any other person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this Competition.
6.5 If, for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes
including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter and/or Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the Entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
6.6 The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at its sole discretion, orally or in writing, for the purpose of Seven’s programming, scheduling or production requirements.
6.7 The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. The Promoter’s and the Sponsor’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
6.8 Seven Network (Operations) Limited and the Sponsor assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, Entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
6.9 By entering the Competition, and by collecting the Prize, Winners acknowledge and accept that driving, travel and any other activities comprising the Prize, are inherently dangerous and may result in death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses. Neither the Promoter nor the Sponsor or Prize supplier are responsible for any acts of god, such as adverse weather conditions or industrial action or civil commotion that may occur whilst a Winner is travelling. It is the responsibility of each Prize Winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at destinations prior to travel.
7. PROMOTER’S DETAILS
7.1 The Promoter is Seven Network (Operations) Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) of 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh NSW 2015.
7.2 The Sponsor is The Star Pty Limited (ABN 25 060 510 410) of 80 Pyrmont Street, Pyrmont, NSW 2009.
7.3 By ticking the opt in checkbox on the entry form, the Sponsor will handle the personal information of the Entrants (e.g. first name, last name, address, phone number, email address and date of birth) in accordance with their privacy policy, which can be accessed at
https://www.star.com.au/privacy-policy7.4 In accordance with clause 7.6, the Promoter will share the personal information of the Entrant (e.g. first name, last name, address, phone number, email address and date of birth) with the Sponsor, who will use the personal information for the purpose of contacting the Entrant to organise delivery of the Prize and facilitating delivery of the Prize by a supplier.
7.5 The Privacy Policy of the Sponsor may be updated from time to time, and it will be the responsibility of the Entrant to keep up to date with any changes to the Privacy Policy. The Entrant may at any time, opt out of receiving contact from the Sponsor by emailing customer service at
