The Tangalooma Island Resort Whale Watching Competition ("Competition") is organized by Tangalooma Pty Ltd ("Promoter"), ABN 30 010 997 707, of Cnr Kingsford Smith Drive & Harvey Street Eagle Farm Qld 4009. Telephone: (07) 3637 2000. By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions").
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the Competition at any time if it is deemed necessary in its opinion or if circumstances arise outside of its control. These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
By entering the Competition, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Eligibility
The Competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of Tangalooma Island Resort, their immediate families, and any third parties directly associated with the administration of the Competition are not eligible to enter. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not increase the chances of winning.

Competition Period
The Competition begins on Sunday 10 August 2025, and ends 11:59 pm Saturday, 17 August 2025 (Competition Period"). Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be considered.
The Sweepstakes must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided and pass any verification requirements (email or fraud score) set by the Sponsor. The entry must fulfil all requirements of the Sweepstakes, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications of the Sweepstakes may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules of the Sweepstakes, your submission may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
Prize
The winner(s) of the Sweepstakes (the "Winner") will receive the following prize: a Classic Whale Watching Day Trip for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), valued at $560.00. The Classic Whale Watching Day Trip includes return boat transfers to Tangalooma, Whale Watching Cruise, a drink on the boat, a light lunch served on the cruise, full access to resort amenities like pools, beaches and restaurants. Single car parking will also be included at Holt Street Wharf. Boats leave Brisbane at 7.30 or 10am daily. A child is considered 3-14 years old. If you would like to upgrade to an adult ticket, or a different whale watching package you can do this through our reservations department at the time of booking. Cost of this upgrade will be covered by the individuals. The prize must be redeemed by 14 October 2025 and travel must be completed by 15 October 2025. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control make it necessary to do so.
Winner Selection and Notification
The Winner will be selected by Random Draw under the supervision of the Promoter. The Winner will be notified within 7 days of the winner selection. The Sponsor shall have no liability for a Winner's failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for a Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 7 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Any violation of these official rules by the Winner at the Sponsor's sole discretion will result in the Winner's disqualification as winner, and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated.
Publicity:
By entering the Competition, participants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation. The winner may be required to participate in publicity related to the Competition, which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
