Game of Skill – Terms and Conditions
1) The Promoter is Stan Entertainment Pty Ltd (ABN 94 168 856 924) of Level 22, 1 Denison Street, North Sydney NSW 2060.
2) Thisisagameofskill.Chanceplaysnopartindeterminingthe winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual creative merit. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and must not infringe, or be alleged to infringe, any third-party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions.
3) Employees,directors,officersandstaffofStanEntertainment Pty Ltd (Promoter) and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter the competition, as are their immediate families.
4) Promotion commences at 1:00pm AEST on September 8, 2025. Entries close 5:00pm AEDT on October 7, 2025.
5) Tobeeligibletoenterthecompetition,entrantsmust:
a) be aged 18 years and over and reside in Australia;
b) are able to take delivery of the Prize and agree that their last name, initial of their first name and postcode can be published on the Winner Publication Site if they are selected as a Winner.
6) Toenter,entrantsmust:
a) Complete and submit the online entry form accessible by clicking the link via an the email sent to them by Stan, or through the Stan website and or social media pages or via the following hyperlink [daryldixon.winwithstan.com.au], and input the requested details including name, address, mobile phone number, postcode and valid email address.
b) Create and submit a piece of artwork that reflects your vision of the walker apocalypse in Australia (can include Daryl Dixon but no other character).
c) Only one entry is permitted per person. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
7) ThePromoterreservestherighttodisqualifyanyentrant submitting an entry which, in the sole opinion of the Promoter, does not comply with these terms and conditions, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language. The Promoter’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into with any entrant.
Createdandsubmittedartwork:
a) Cannot include any third-party Intellectual Property (landmarks, local products, etc.)
b) Must not be bound by third-party agreements or require additional permissions or payments (i.e. no use of third party intellectual property).
c) Cannot use any other talent other than Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus).
d) Except for Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), must not use any person’s identity or likeness without permission.
e) Cannot use AI, including generative AI, in creating the artwork.
f) Has to be originally created for this specific contest (can’t use previously created assets).
g) Needs to be based on the TWD: Daryl Dixon series not the comic book. Artwork resembling comic book art will be disqualified.
h) Needs to be in Vector, PNG or JPG format (over 300 dpi).
i) Must not contain unauthorised or plagiarised content.
j) Must not include nudity, explicit, obscene, or inappropriate material.
k) Must not contain political content or messaging.
l) Must not disparage or harm the reputation of AMC, Stan
or others, or associate AMC and Stan with inappropriate or controversial material.
m) Must not include unlawful, abusive, hateful, or offensive imagery or language.
9) AllentriesbecomeandremainthepropertyofthePromoterand agencies associated with this promotion.
10) The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.
11) The prize is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of this prize will result in an immediate cancellation of the prize.
12) The prize cannot be exchanged for another prize. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
13) The promoter reserves the right to substitute any component of the prize for a prize of equal value at their discretion.
14) Once the prize has been confirmed by the Promoter, the prize is deemed non-transferrable.
15) On acceptance of the competition prize, the winner acknowledges that they have read and agreed to the Promoter’s terms and conditions.
16) Entries will be judged by the Promoter (in its sole discretion) by 12:00pm AEDT on October 10, 2025, and two finalists will be
selected and notified by the Promoter via phone or email. The two finalist’s entries will be submitted to AMC US (The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’s production studio) for final judging, where series star Norman Reedus (or a substitute at AMC’s discretion) will pick the winning entry based on the following criteria:
a) Creativity and Originality
b)Appeal to The Walking Dead fanbase c) Feasibility to include on merchandise
17) Both finalists will receive a The Walking Dead merchandise pack valued at AUD $231 each. The entry selected as the final winner will be deemed the best fan art in Australia and the winning entry may be featured on merchandise on the official AMC/The Walking Dead Shop and may also be featured on the official The Walking Dead Universe social channels.
18) Winner may be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement, and/or any other releases in relation to the promotion.
19) The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws. AMC US is not hosting this contest, however entrants release and hold AMC (The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon) harmless from anything related to the contest, the artwork, and AMC’s use thereof.
20) By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions and acknowledge full responsibility for their decision to participate in the Promotion and to claim the prize if they are a winner.
21) All entries become the property of the Promoter and the Promoter may use the entrant's names and literary pieces for any commercial purpose, including future promotional marketing and publicity purposes.
22) By submitting the artwork and being selected as a winner, the entrant irrevocably assigns and transfers all rights, title, and interest in and to the artwork to Rainbow Media Holdings LLC “AMC US”, and relinquishes any and all ownership or proprietary claims thereto, per the laws of Australia.
23) The two finalists/winner may have their artwork featured on AMC’s shop, for a limited time, as designated by AMC US (all details are in AMC US’s sole and absolute discretion), and the winner hereby grants AMC US the unrestricted right to sell merchandise incorporating the artwork, and the entrant shall not be entitled to any royalties, compensation, or other monetary consideration in connection therewith.
24) Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
25) By submitting any entry and being selected as a winner, each entrant represents that s/he has sole and exclusive ownership and proprietary rights of all content submitted and did not use any form of generative AI to create such content; and agrees that their artwork becomes the sole and exclusive property of AMC US and the Promoter, and AMC US and the Promoter may publish, display, promote, advertise, edit, modify, assign, license and/or utilize the artwork in any manner of its choosing in relation to the promotion or advertising of the Contest or AMC US and Stan, in any media now known or hereafter created or devised, for any reason whatsoever, without compensation to entrant.
26) AMC US and the Promoter have the right to use the name, likeness, social handles of the two finalists in all media, in perpetuity, in connection with the Contest and/or The Walking
Dead series’.
27) By entering the Promotion, each entrant consents to their last name, initial of their first name and postcode published on the Stan website if they are selected as a winner. However, the winner may request that Stan does not publish their name and postcode and the Promoter agrees to comply with such request.
28) All entrants consent to have their contact details (first name, surname, email address) released to the Promoter and consent to receiving ongoing marketing material and correspondence from the Promoter. Entrants also consent to the Promoter posting any entries on its social media account(s) and platforms.
29) The information you are asked to provide to the Promoter is personal information and is protected by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The Promoter will not disclose this information to other parties other than in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.
30) If there is a dispute between the Promoter and an Entrant, the parties must, without delay and in good faith, attempt to resolve any dispute which arises out of or in connection with this Promotion prior to commencing any proceedings. If a dispute is not resolved within 30 days of submission of the dispute by a party to the other party, the dispute must be submitted to mediation in accordance with and subject to the Australian Disputes Centre rules and guidelines (that are current at the time). A party must not commence proceedings in respect of the dispute unless the dispute is not settled by mediation within 30 days from submission to mediation or such other time as the parties agree.
31) These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the relevant Australian jurisdiction/s in which each Entrant resides, and each Entrant and the Promoter submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant State or Territory
