In partnership with international short film festival Flickerfest, Specsavers returns in 2026 to spotlight the next generation of filmmaking talent. Five finalists have been chosen for their bold interpretations of the iconic “Should’ve Gone To Specsavers” ads, premiering at Flickerfest’s Bondi showcase from Friday, January 23 to Sunday, February 1. And this time, you’re on the judging panel.
Watch all five finalist films and cast your vote. The winning filmmaker will take home an additional $50,000, on top of their $20,000 prize money, and voters can also enter the draw to win a $1,000 Digital Visa Gift Card.
Five standout 'Should've Gone to Specsavers' TVCs have been selected as finalists in the Specsavers & Flickerfest TVC Competition, with each finalists awarded $20,000. However, one final prize remains — $50,000 to help launch a creative career — and the winner is chosen by you.
