We’ve got something a little different for horror fans and dog lovers alike. To celebrate the home entertainment release of Good Boy, Screen Realm is giving away 10 Blu-ray copies of the acclaimed canine-led horror film. It’s now available to own on Blu-ray and DVD, and we’ve got copies ready to go.
Directed by Ben Leonberg, who co-wrote the film with Alex Cannon, Good Boy tells its story from a perspective rarely seen in the genre. A loyal dog moves to a rural home with his owner Todd, only to sense that something is off. As unsettling forces begin to take shape around them, the dog becomes the first line of defence against a growing supernatural threat.
The film stars Leonberg’s own dog, Indy, who had no prior acting experience before taking on the lead role. Production took place over three years, with the result landing as both a critical and commercial success. The film drew praise for its inventive approach and for Indy’s performance, and went on to gross $8.7 million from a $70,000 budget.
It’s a simple hook with a clever twist. A haunted house story, but seen through the eyes of the one character who knows something is wrong before anyone else does.
We have 10 Blu-ray copies of Good Boy to give away.
