By entering the Sunrise x Coles AFL Gather Round Competition (“Competition”), you agree to the
following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and
older, where the Channel Seven signal is received.
Employees and their immediate family members of Seven Network (Operations) Limited
(“Promoter”), Coles Group Ltd (“Sponsor”) and their associated agencies and companies and
any prize suppliers are not eligible to enter.
In clause 2.2, a reference to “Immediate Family Member” includes a spouse, defacto
spouse, parent, natural or adopted child or sibling living in the same residence.
To be eligible to enter, entrants must be available for a phone or video call live on the Sunrise
Broadcast between the dates of Wednesday 8th April to Friday 10th April 2026 between the hours
of 5:30am -9:00am.
To be eligible to win the Major Prize, entrants must be able to attend Friday’s Outside Broadcast
held at Elder Park in Adelaide.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 3.2 The competition commences on Friday 3rd April 2026 at 5:30am AEST and concludes on
Tuesday 7th April 2026 at 12:00pm AEST (the “Competition Period”).
In order to enter, viewers must:
• Visit the Sunrise website and register their full name, state, postcode, email address, and
mobile phone number on the Competition page [Sunrise.com.au]; and
• Submit an answer to the competition question, “In 25 words or less, tell us why your local
footy club deserves to win a share of $5,000?”
• Tick the checkbox, confirming they are available to answer a call from Sunrise live on the
Sunrise Broadcast between the dates of Wednesday 8th April to Friday 10th April 2026
between the hours of 5:30am -9:00am.
3.3 Entries must be received by Tuesday 7th April 2026 at 12:00pm AEST.
3.4 Entrants can enter as many times as they like throughout the competition period.
3.5 The entry must be:
(a) the original independent creation of the entrant;
(b) written in English; and
(c) free from any claims, including but not restricted to copyright or trademark claims, by

Entry details including all submissions made remain the property of the Promoter and will not
3.7 3.8 3.9 be returned to the entrant. The Winner agrees to grant the Promoter a perpetual, irrevocable
and non-exclusive license to use their entries in all media worldwide and the Winner will not
be entitled to any fee for such use.
Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be
offensive or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to
infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity,
will be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s
sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter and Sponsor are not responsible for any data or other information related to
this Competition that may be lost, damaged as a result of any computer software or
hardware malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer / server/ software
problems will be rectified as quickly as possible.
Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting entries, or the
entry will be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the
validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, validity of driver’s license
and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in
accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors
and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to
enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be Three (3) Prize Winners of the Competition (“Winners”). There will be one
Major Prize Winner who will win the Major Prize (“Major Prize”) and Two (2) Minor Prize
Winners who will each receive one (1) Minor Prize as details in the table in clause 4.2 (“Minor
Prize”).

The total prize pool is valued at up to $5,000.00 AUD (including GST). The Promoter or Sponsor
accepts no responsibility for the change in the Prize specification or value between now and
the ultimate redemption date.
Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Prize are not included. These are the
responsibilities of the Winner.
The Prize is non-transferrable. No cash alternative is available for the Prize. The Prize must be
taken as offered. Any unused portion of the Prize, or portion of the Prize, the Winner is not
entitled to and is not exchangeable or cannot be redeemed as cash. The Prize cannot be used
in conjunction with any other special offer.
The Cash prizes are to be presented and accepted by a representative of the local footy club as
nominated in the winners’ competition entry. The acceptances for the Minor prizes will take
place over video call and the Major prize must be accepted in person by a representative of
the local club at the Channel 7 presentation broadcast at Elder Park in Adelaide, SA.
The Prize value is in Australian dollars. The Promoter and Sponsor accept no responsibility for
any variation in the Prize values. The Winner is advised that tax implications may arise from
winning the Prize, and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of
the Prize and the Promotor and Sponsor accept no liability for any tax implications that may
arise from claiming the Prize.
Winners must be over 18.
The prize does not include and neither the Prize Supplier or Promoter are responsible for any
transport, travel, accommodation or other related expenses that could be incurred for the
Winners to attend any aspect of the prize. Any and all transport travel, flight and
accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the Winners.
In acceptance of the Prize, the Winner acknowledges that they may incur ongoing costs
associated with the Prize which are the entire responsibility of the Winner.
The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence
regarding the Competition result.
It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions of
use of the Prize and the Sponsor’s requirements.
Personal information about the Prize Winner will be shared with the Sponsor, and their agents,
to the extent necessary for the Prize to be fulfilled to the Winner.
The Prize will be awarded to the person named in their contestant entry. Should an entrant’s
contact details change during the Competition Period it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify
the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be
directed to the Promoter.
It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner may be required to sign a legal release
in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
The Winner agrees that they will not sell or otherwise make available their story and/or
photographs to any media or other organization other than the Promoter.
Subject to state permit authority restrictions, the Promoter may reasonably amend these
terms and conditions, orally or in writing, in its absolute discretion.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 5.2 5.3 5.4 5.5 5.6 5.7 5.8 There will be Three (3) Prize Winners (“Winners”) of the Competition. The Competition is a game
of skill and chance plays no part in determining the Winner.
Each entrant who has entered the Competition over the Competition Period and registered all
details in accordance with clause 3 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the Competition.
All Valid Entries will be individually judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the
Promoter, with The Winners determined on the basis of the most authentic and original
responses. Judging will commence on Tuesday 7th April 2026 at 12.15pm (AEST) at Seven
Network Media City, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh NSW 2015.
The Winner’s name will be published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of
judging. The Winner will be contacted by telephone or email within two (2) business days of the
publication. The Promoter reserves the right to re-judge in the event of a Winner not claiming the
Prize by 12:00pm AEST on Thursday 9th April 2026. If required, a re-judging will take place at
12:30pm AEST on Thursday 9th April 2026 at Seven Network Media City, 8 Central Avenue,
Eveleigh NSW 2015. The alternative Winner, if any, will be notified in writing and by phone within
two (2) business days of the re-judging and their name published on the Sunrise website within
two (2) business days of re-judging.
The Promoter reserves the right to judge reserve Winners and record in order of judging in
the event that a judged Winner is invalid.
Each Entrant who has entered the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions
during the Competition Period will be entered into the Winner Judging’s subsequent to their
entry being received by the Promoter’s database.
Each Winner will be notified via email and phone call on the day of the prize Judging. Each
Winner will then be contacted by phone or video call by Sunrise during the Sunrise broadcast
between 05:30am AEST and 09:00am AEST on the following day, as set out in the table in
clause 5.9.
Winners will be called and announced during the live Sunrise broadcast between 5:30am AEST
and 9:00am AEST on the below dates:

5.9 5.10 5.11 Each Winner will also be contacted via email and phone call by the Sponsor to re-confirm
their Prize and organise Prize fulfillment within two (2) business days after the
corresponding Broadcast date. All Winners will be published on the Sunrise website within
two (2) business days of the final broadcast.
In the event that the Winner does not answer their phone during the Sunrise broadcast, the
Winner will still be deemed the Winner of their corresponding Prize. Subject to clause 5.2.
The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence
5.12 5.13 5.14 regarding the result.
The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a Winner
being notified or a Winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the Winner did
not enter the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions. In these
circumstances, additional judging will be conducted.
Incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions
of use of the Prize requirements. Prize is subject to Sponsor’s Terms and Conditions.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 6.2 6.3 6.4 6.5 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or
significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and
in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to
vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war,
pandemic, epidemic, government restraint, or act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its
absolute discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition. If, due to circumstances
beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated prize, the
Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize.
The Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Coles Group Ltd and their associated agencies and
companies will not take any responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost, or
misdirected mail.
The Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Coled Group Ltd and their associated agencies and
companies, to the extent permitted by law, will not be liable for any misadventure, accident,
injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
• during the judging;
• whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the Competition; or
• in the participation in any Prize;
• because of late, lost or misdirected mail;
• due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication
of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member,
journalist, other entrants or any other person;
• in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical
problems or traffic congestion; and
• arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer
equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other
person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes
including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or
any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the
administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the
Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with
the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at

production requirements.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the
Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in any
unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct
of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation
from such an offender are reserved.
Seven Network (Operations) Limited assume no responsibility for any error, omission,
interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure,
theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right
to take any action that may be available.
If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by
computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any
other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration
security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the
right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process,
take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the
competition.
By entering the Competition, and by collecting the Prize, the Winner acknowledges and
accepts that driving, travel and any other activities comprising the Prize, are inherently
dangerous and may result in death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses.
Neither the Promoter nor Sponsor are responsible for any acts of god, such as adverse weather
conditions or industrial action or civil commotion that may occur whilst a Winner is travelling.
It is the responsibility of each Winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at
destinations prior to travel.

Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Seven Network (Operations) Limited (ABN 65
052 845 262) and its related entities (“Seven”), is collecting your personal information for the
purpose of conducting and promoting this Competition, including for the purpose of identifying
and notifying the Winner, prize fulfilment and understanding our audiences. Seven will
otherwise handle your personal information in accordance with Seven’s Privacy Policy which is
available on our website at

contains information regarding how you can access your personal information, correct it and/ or
make a complaint about our handling of your personal information). By providing your personal
information below, you agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy. Without limiting the foregoing,
Seven may disclose the entrant’s personal information to its related entities, business partners
and external service providers for research and profiling purposes as well as other purposes
reasonably related to the entrant’s relationship with Seven. In addition, by entering this
competition, you consent to Seven using your personal information for the purpose of Seven and
its related entities sending you information regarding programs, products and services available
through them and/ or through their business partners, and to Seven from time to time sharing
your personal information with carefully selected business partners for the purpose of them
sending you such information directly. We will always provide you with the ability to opt out of
those communications.
