The following terms and conditions constitute the entrant’s agreement with the promoter, Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd (ABN 84 063 430 848) of Level 2, 509 St Kilda Road, Melbourne VIC 3004 (“Promoter”) in relation to the participation in the Win a trip to the 2026 Gold Coast Pacific Airshow Competition (“Promotion” or “Competition”).  

This Schedule sets out the details of the Promotion and must be read together with the Conditions of Entry which follow. Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Eligible Persons  
   

The Competition is open to Australian residents 18 years of age or over during the Promotion Period and have a valid email address. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that they have ongoing access to the email account used to submit their entry (“entrant”). The competition is open to both existing and new email subscribers.

    

  

Do not enter this Promotion if you are not a legal resident, and located in Australia, at the time of entry. Employees, directors and officers of Webjet, its related entities and agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are not eligible to enter this promotion.

Eligibility 
   

The winning entry will be determined based on originality, creativity, and relevance to the question (“In 25 words or less, tell us why the Gold Coast Pacific Airshow is your next somewhere”).Customers must complete all required fields before they submit their entry to be eligible for one of the five major prizes.

Entry Conditions 
   

Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction or otherwise including those entries not received by the Promoter.

Selection of Winner 
   

    The judging of entries will be conducted at Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd, Level 2, 509 St Kilda Rd Melbourne 3004 between Thursday 28 May and Friday 29 May 2026, with the final selection taking place at 4:30 PM AEST on Friday 29 May 2026.
    

    All eligible entries will be individually reviewed by a panel appointed by the Promoter and managed by the Promoter’s Marketing team.
      

    As this is a Game of Skill, chance plays no part in determining the winner. 

Prize Details 
   

Five (5) Major Prize, including flights, accommodation, and passes to the 2026 Gold Coast Pacific Airshow. Each prize is valid for two (2) travellers.  

 

All prize elements must be booked by 30 June 2026, with all travel completed by 31 December 2026.

 

FLIGHTS

    Two (2) x return Virgin Australia Economy tickets from Melbourne (MEL), Sydney (SYD), Adelaide (ADL), Perth (PER), Brisbane (BNE), Australia to the Gold Coast Airport (OOL) with maximum value of AUD$1,000 (AUD$500 per ticket). Price is based on an average return economy class flight booking on www.webjet.com.au for two (2) people, departing from Melbourne and travelling between June - December 2026.

    If the fares exceed AUD$500 per return ticket at the time of booking, any additional cost will be at the prize winner’s own expense.
    

    If the prize winner does not reside within one of the above main city ports in Australia, transport to a main city airport will be at the prize winner’s own expense. Main city ports include Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.  
    

    Valid for travel anytime up until 31 December 2026, excluding blackout dates.
    

    Bookings must be made on Virgin Australia operated and marketed flights only, and must be booked and ticketed by Webjet before 30 June 2026.
    

    GST and taxes are included in the price of the ticket. Unless otherwise stated, the flight prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, taxes not included in the price of the ticket, ground transportation, flights, accommodation or any other costs of a personal nature. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize-winner and companion. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. Prize travel is subject to Virgin Australia’s General Conditions of Carriage.
    

    Prize travel is subject to availability at the time of booking and prize travel is subject to availability of prize travel fares at the time of booking. The winner and their companion must travel together on all prize travel. An upgrade cannot be purchased on airfares with cash or Velocity Points.  

    Prize travel must be booked by 30 June 2026 and travel by 31 December 2026.

 

ACCOMMODATION

    Two (2) nights’ accommodation at Mantra On View, on the Gold Coast for two (2) (valued at AUD$320 per night, total value of AUD$640.00). Based on a (two) 2 night stay between 10 - 16 August 2026. 

 

PACIFIC AIRSHOW PASSES

    Two (2) Beach Club passes to the 2026 Gold Coast Pacific Airshow on Saturday 15 August 2026 (average value of AUD$535 per person). 

    Each Beach Club pass includes:

    • Unreserved seating inside tented pavilion
    •  Premium food offerings including morning tea, buffet lunch and afternoon snacks
    •  4-hour beverage package (including beer, wine and soft drink)
    •  Front patio area with unreserved seating and shade
    •  Private restrooms

Notification of Winner 
   

A member of the Webjet team will notify the winner within the first 24-hours of selecting the winner in writing via email. The name and state of a winner will be published on www.webjet.com.au/travel-toolbox/competitions by the Publication Date.

Claim Instructions 
   

The prize winner will be contacted by the Promoter on the date the winner is determined via email to the email address provided, as specified above in ‘Notification of Winner’.  

The Promoter reserves the right to request that a Winner provides proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency, age and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a Winner cannot provide suitable proof, the Winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. 

 

Two attempts over 7 days will be made to contact the prize winners. If the prizes remain unclaimed after 7 days, the Promoter will determine a new winner at the time(s) and date(s) specified below.  

 

If the prize remains unclaimed by the claim date, the Promoter will award the Prize to the next most creative valid entry on Wednesday 10 June 2026 at 11:00 AM AEST, at Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd, Level 2, 509 St Kilda Road, Melbourne 3004, Victoria. 

 

The new winner will be contacted by the Promoter via email to the email address provided in the entry and will be published on http://www.webjet.com.au/travel-toolbox/competitions/ as per Redraw Prize Date specified below.

All entrants who are selected as winners consent to the Promoter using their name, image, likeness, character, voice or anything else that identifies them without remuneration in any media worldwide (including without limitation in national print media, on the Promoter's website and in other promotional material) for a reasonable time to publicise this promotion (including any outcome).  

 

The Promoter will use any personal information entrants provide in connection with this Promotion for the purpose of the Promotion. A copy of the Promoter’s Privacy Policy can be found at www.webjet.com.au.  
 

By entering the promotion, entrants agree to join the Webjet email marketing list. You can opt-out from receiving Webjet’s marketing materials at any time using the unsubscribe link included in all Webjet marketing emails or by following the instructions in Webjet’s Privacy Policy. 

    Webjet is the sole Promoter and as such all enquiries in relation to this promotion must be directed to Webjet’s Customer Support Service via https://www.webjet.com.au/support/.  


    Where Webjet receives an enquiry or complaint regarding any element of this promotion, Webjet will address the enquiry directly or, if relevant to the prize partners, immediately notify the respective partner by way of written communication. All Parties will cooperate to address and respond to the enquiry and complete all other actions, as necessary, to resolve the enquiry in an expeditious manner.  


    The Promoter may need to contact the prize winner to validate their eligibility details in order to award the prize.  


    The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process. 

    Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter. 

    By accepting the prize, winners agree to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media and content editorial requests relating to the prize and the content shared, including but not limited to being interviewed, photographed and shared content on social media. Winners will not be entitled to any fee for participating in these activities. 

    The Promoter may request a winner to participate in promotional activity after the Promotion has ended. In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize, the winner permits the winner’s image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed, or filmed during participation in the prize, to appear in any media throughout the world for an unlimited period without entitlement to any fee for such use. 

    The entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter, and all participating partners, against all liability, cost, loss, or expense arising out of the entrant's participation in the Promotion or breach of these terms and conditions, including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury, and damage to property, whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, or due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise. 

    If for any reason the prize, or any element of the prize, becomes unavailable for any reason outside the Promoter’s control, then a similar element of equal value will be awarded in lieu, subject to applicable laws and regulations of the relevant State or Territory. 

    The Promoter, and all prize partners are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the entrant or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this promotion, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this promotion, including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or network failure, theft, destruction, or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. 

    Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize. Any portion of the prize unused will be forfeited. 

    The Promoter, and all prize partners take no responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries. 

    Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes, or modifies, or purports to limit, exclude, or modify, the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (Non-Excludable Guarantees). The Promoter, and all prize partners, and their associated agencies and companies (and their respective officers, employees, and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, for any direct, indirect, or consequential injury, loss, and/or damage arising in any way in connection with this Promotion or any prize. This includes, but is not limited to: technical malfunctions, delays, or failures; theft, unauthorised access, or third-party interference;  lost or damaged entries, prize claims, or prizes; and acceptance and/or use of any prize (including but not limited to any component of a winner’s trip). 

    The officers, management, and employees (or immediate family of an officer, manager, or employee) of the Promoter, and all prize partners are not eligible to enter.  


    If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.  


    The Promoter, and all prize partners assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries. They are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to a participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition.  


    If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to technical failure, communications network issues, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or  behaviour considered abusive towards Webjet representatives or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, subject to State or Territory regulation.  


    A winner may be disqualified for any of the following reasons: engaging in behaviour considered not acceptable or abusive towards the Promoter or associated agencies; or failure to meet the eligibility requirements set forth above.  


    The Promoter, and all prize partners are not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
