At The Staff Canteen Australia, we’re here to connect chefs with the people, places and ideas shaping the industry. So we’re giving one chef the chance to experience another hatted restaurant for themselves, see what other kitchens are doing, and enjoy a $500 dining experience on us.

THE PRIZE

One (1) winner will receive a $500 AUD dining voucher.

The voucher can be used at a hatted restaurant in Australia, selected by the winner and approved by the promoter.

The restaurant must be currently operating, accepting bookings, and recognised as hatted by a reputable Australian restaurant guide.

Closes: 31 May 2026 at 11:59pm AEST

The winner will be drawn within 5 business days of the closing date.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Promoter

The promoter is The Staff Canteen Australia.

2. Eligibility

    Entry is open to chefs aged 18 years and over who reside in Australia.
    Entrants must be currently working as a chef, apprentice chef, or culinary professional in Australia.
    Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the promoter are not eligible to enter.

3. Competition Period

The competition opens on 27 April 2026 and closes on 31 May 2026 at 11:59pm AEST.

Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

    Be a chef, apprentice chef, or culinary professional residing in Australia
    Sign up for a free Staff Canteen Australia membership, or log in if they are already a member
    Submit a comment in the competition page comments section
    Nominate the hatted restaurant in Australia where they would spend the voucher
    Entrants must be logged in as a member to comment.

Only one (1) entry per person is permitted.
5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive a $500 AUD dining voucher.

The voucher is valid for use at a hatted restaurant in Australia, selected by the winner and approved by the promoter.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
6. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.

The draw will take place within 5 business days of the competition closing date.

The winner will be contacted via the email address associated with their membership.

If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, a redraw may occur.
7. Prize Conditions

Any costs exceeding the $500 prize value are the responsibility of the winner.

Travel, accommodation, transport, and any additional expenses are not included.

The prize is subject to restaurant availability and booking conditions.
8. Use of Entries

By entering, participants agree that their name and submitted comment may be used by The Staff Canteen Australia for promotional purposes related to this competition.

10. General
