Discover keys to train brain
SCIENCE BREAKTHROUGH .. Dr Norman Doidge.
AN international best-selling author is coming to Brisbane to discuss breakthroughs in brain science.
Norman Doidge MD, psychiatrist, psychoanalyst and author, made the discovery of neuroplasticity (the ability of the brain to change itself) understandable for millions of people through his book The Brain that Changes Itself.
Dr Doidge will discuss how understanding the brain can unlock mysteries of love, sexual attraction, and taste. Other implications of the discovery, according to Dr Doidge, include people being able to raise their IQ or learn to play a musical instrument just by thinking.
The seminar, Lessons from the Frontiers of Brain Science, will be held at Brisbane Convention Centre, on Monday, September, 6, from 8.30am to 3pm.
It costs from $119 (morning session only) to $169 (all day including lunch). Book tickets from Ralph Gurr on (08) 6201 1060 or
