Based on the comic by Mark Millar, Matthew Vaughn's Kick-Ass tells the story of high school student Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), who decides to take his obsession with comic books as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copycats and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes: Damon MacCready aka Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) and his pre-teen assassin daughter, Mindy aka Hit-Girl (Chloe Moretz), who take crime-fighting to another level.
