Just Cuts – Daggy Dad Photo promotion

How to Enter

To enter, eligible entrants must:

1. Visit www.facebook.com/justcutsfranchising during the promotional period;
2. Follow the prompts and click through to the Just Cuts Daggy Dad photo
promotion Face Book Application;

3. ‘Like’ the Just Cuts Face Book Fan page;

4. Upload their ‘Daggy Dad’ photo using the Face Book photo browser by 11.59pm
AEST Sunday 5th September 2010; and

5. Tell their friends to vote for their ‘Daggy Dad’ photo by visiting the gallery located
at www.facebook.com/justcutsfranchising (and following the instructions
provided). Voting closes at 11.59pm AEST Monday 6th September 2010.


Subject to clause 10 below, The ‘Daggy Dad’ photograph with the most votes at the end of
the voting period will WIN an Apple iPad 16GB with Wifi and a 9.7-inch LED-backlit Touch
screen valued at SRP $629 and a year’s worth of ‘Style Cuts’ for the winner’s dad, awarded
in the form of a Just Cuts voucher in the amount of $234. Individuals must be Facebook
members to be able to vote.


Terms & Conditions

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions.
Submission of an entry into this competition is deemed to be acceptance of these
Terms and Conditions. Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms and
Conditions are ineligible.

2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia 18 years or older who are followers of Just
Cuts on Facebook www.facebook.com/justcutsfranchising.
Employees (and
immediate families) of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and their
agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family
means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild
(whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, stepgrandparent,
uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or
1st cousin.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries,
entrants and voters (including an entrant's or voter’s identity, age and place of
residence) and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or
who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the
Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of
those rights.
4. The Promotion commences on 09/08/2010 and ends for uploads at 11.59pm
AEST on 05/09/2010 (“Promotional Period”). Voting closes at 11.59pm AEST on
06/09/2010.

5. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.

6. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) individuals can only “like”
the Just Cuts Face Book Fan page once, however, they can upload multiple
photographs for voting provided that each photograph submitted is substantially
unique; and (b) each entry/photograph must be submitted separately and in
accordance with entry requirements. There is a strict limit of one (1) vote per
person per day per entry.


7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the
right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
8. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each
entry will be posted in the www.facebook.com/justcutsfranchising photo gallery.
Facebook members and entrant’s friends (who are also Facebook members) can
vote for any picture posted in the gallery. Subject to clause 10 below, at the end of
the voting period (11.59pm AEST on 06/09/2010) the entrant who submitted the
photograph that receives the most votes will win an Apple iPad 16GB with Wifi and
9.7-inch LED-backlit Touchscreen valued at SRP $629 and a year’s worth of ‘Style
Cuts’ for the winner’s dad, awarded in the form of a Just Cuts voucher in the
amount of $234.
9. The voting decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. If two or more entrants’ photographs have an equal highest number of votes at
the end of the voting period, the tied entrants will be required to provide an answer
to the question “Why do you deserve to win an Apple iPad and a year’s worth of
hair cuts for your dad?” by the date and time specified by the Promoter. The
answer judged to be the best by the Promoter (in its absolute discretion) on the
basis of its originality and literary and creative merit will win the prize.
11. Total prize pool is valued at $863. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and
cannot be taken as cash.
12. If for any reason the winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize by
the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will
be forfeited.
13. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion,
reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to
the equal value and/or specification.
14. The use of any automated entry or voting software or any other mechanical or
electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly or allows
a voter to automatically cast multiple votes is prohibited and will render all
entries/votes submitted by that entrant/voter invalid.
15. Entrants agree to the following conditions when submitting their entry:
a) When they submit any materials via the promotion including
comments, recordings and images (“Content”), they, unless the
Promoter advises otherwise, license and grant the Promoter, its
affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual,
worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce,
modify, adapt, publish and display such Content for any purpose in
any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or
liability. Entrants agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to
such use and warrant that they have the full authority to grant
these rights.
b) Entrants agree that they are fully responsible for the Content they
submit. The Promoter shall not be liable in any way for such
Content to the full extent permitted by law. The Promoter may
remove any Content without notice for any reason whatsoever.
Entrants warrant and agree that: (a) they will not submit any
Content that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that the Promoter may
deem in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or
other rights, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic,
sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening,
objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, not
suitable for children aged under 15, or otherwise unsuitable for
publication; (b) they will obtain prior consent from any person or
property that appears in their Content; (c) they will obtain full prior
consent from any person who has jointly created or has any rights
in the Content, to the uses and terms herein; (d) their Content shall
not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity;
and (e) they will comply with all applicable laws and regulations,
including without limitation, those governing copyright, content,
defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others'
computer or communication systems.
Without limiting any other terms herein, entrants agree to
indemnify the Promoter for any breach of the above terms
16. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image
and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or
recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration
for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and
promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the
Promoter.
17. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted
as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the
Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest
extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend,
terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
18. Any cost associated with accessing any promotional website is the entrant’s
responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
19. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter, Facebook
(including their officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including
negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of
opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way
out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the
following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not
under the Promoter’s or Facebook’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or
third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered,
damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due
to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in
prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability
incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
20. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and
may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not
limited to, agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers. Entry is
conditional on providing this information. Unless otherwise advised, the Promoter
or any third party on the behalf of the promoter may also use the information for
promotional, marketing, research, profiling and publicity purposes including
sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant without any further
reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant. All entries become
the property of the Promoter.
21. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated
with, Facebook. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to
the Promoter and not to Facebook and that the information an entrant provides

Hi All,

Just Cuts have launched a competition on Facebook called Daggy Dad, it requires you to upload a photo of your dad in order to enter the competition.

Once you've uploaded, the dad with the most votes wins, so you'll want to share this with as many people as possible on Facebook so they can increase your votes.

The Dad with the most votes wins an iPad + Free Style Cuts for a year.
