The band has just completed a month-long run across north America, where 95% of shows were sold out, The Cat Empire stealing the show and outselling every other band at the merch tent, breaking festival CD sales and hearts of Canadian girls at every stop!
The Australian leg of The Cat Empire’s world tour kicked off on Saturday August 14 in Darwin, at the fabulous outdoor Amphitheatre. Darwin Festival reported that The Cat Empire was the highest selling show on this year’s festival program. And this is proving to be the case everywhere, with shows selling out right around the country.
The touring juggernaut, which has over 40 people on the road with The Cat Empire will work its way around the country playing shows in Perisher, Canberra, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Coolangatta, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, and Cairns, before winding up in Townsville on Sunday September 12.
