Winners will be drawn at random by a director of Jones Lang LaSalle on Friday 8 October 2010 at the Forrest Chase shopping centre. The prize winners will be notified by telephone. Details of the winner will also be published on this website.

Terms and Conditions

Win Forrest Chase for a Day
1.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.This competition is a game of chance.

3.Entry to this competition is restricted to persons 18 years of age or over.

4.Entry to this competition is open to all residents of Western Australia excluding employees of the Promoter, employees of Forrest Chase centre manager Jones Lang LaSalle, retailers and their staff at Forrest Chase and the immediate family of the preceding people (parent, sibling, spouse or grandparent).

5.The competition starts at 12pm AWST Sunday 22 August 2010 and closes at 11.59pm AWST on Thursday 30 September 2010 (‘Competition Period’).

6.To enter this competition, entrants must either: (a) sign up to receive the Forrest Chase
e-newsletter by visiting www.forrestchase.com.au, following the prompts to the registration page, inputting the requested details and submitting during the Competition Period; or (b) take a photo of the Forrest Chase Shopping Centre ad worn by Promotional staff, who will be walking around the Forrest Place precinct in Perth, and send the image along with their first name and last name (with a space between each) in the body of the message, via MMS to 0439266266, so it is received during the Competition Period or alternatively SMS their first name and last name (with a space between each) to 0439266266 so it is received during the Competition Period.

7.Entrants can nominate five (5) friends to receive a promotional email from the Promoter, at the time of registration for the e-newsletter (by including each of their five (5) friends’ name and valid email address). By nominating five (5) friends an entrant will receive one (1) additional entry. The operation of the “refer a friend” mechanic is subject to the Spam Act 2003. Entrants should only refer friends, family, colleagues and other individuals who they have a direct relationship with, and who consent to receiving these types of messages.

8.Entrants can only enter once by either SMS or MMS.

9.’Sign Up E-Newsletter’ forms must have one person’s name, address, email, telephone number and age included.

10.Entrants may only sign up to the e-newsletter once using a single email address. Each subscriber will receive one (1) entry into the competition and a possible one (1) further entry for referring five (5) friends. Multiple sign ups by the same person will result in disqualification from competition entry.

11.To be deemed a valid entry, new subscribers must successfully submit an on-line ‘Sign Up E-Newsletter’ form, with all required fields and details fully completed, in line with clauses 8, 9 & 10. Entries received via post or any other format will not be accepted.

12.Only one (1) MMS/SMS entry permitted per person.

13.For the sake of clarity, each person can submit a maximum of three (3) entries: one (1) entry via the MMS/SMS entry mechanic; one (1) entry for signing up to the e-newsletter; and one (1) entry for referring five (5) friends via the refer a friend mechanic at the time of registering for the e-newsletter.

14.Each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.

15.The MMS entry mechanism is only open to consumers with a MMS compatible mobile phone connected to a service provider which permits picture messaging to the competition MMS number. It is recommended that entrants check with their individual service provider before entering via MMS. Entry costs will vary depending on the mobile network used. Standard SMS and MMS rates apply. SMS and MMS entries submitted via the Internet are ineligible. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant.
16.Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
17.Winning entries will be drawn randomly by a director of Jones Lang LaSalle on Friday 8 October 2010 at 2pm AWST at Forrest Chase shopping centre.
18.Prize winners do not have to be present at the draw to claim the prize.
19.Prize winners will be notified that they are a prize winner by telephone. Details of the prize winners will also be published at www.forrestchase.com.au.

20.There will be fifty three (53) individual prizes and fifty three (53) individual prize winners only.

21.The first valid entry drawn will win the chance to shop with one (1) friend at Forrest Chase shopping centre for a day (‘Shopping Spree Prize’). The Shopping Spree Prize includes return transfers from the winner’s home to Forrest Chase shopping centre in a chauffeur driven limousine for the winner and a friend, a personal shopper for the day, Champagne Breakfast, Sushi Banquet lunch and $3,500 spending money (including GST) provided to the personal shopper to pay for items at any store at Forrest Chase shopping centre on behalf of the winner. The total value of the Shopping Spree Prize is $5,200 (inclusive of $3,500 spending money). Any cash left over from the $3,500 amount at the end of the Shopping Spree Day will be awarded to the winner in the form of Forrest Chase voucher/s, which must be redeemed within 12 months from the date of issue. The Shopping Spree Prize must be taken within 30 days of the draw date for the promotion (08/10/10). The exact date that the prize must be taken will be determined by the Promoter in consultation with the winner, in the event that an agreement cannot be reached the Promoter will select a day.

22.The Shopping Spree Prize must be redeemed in full by the winner in the time frame allowed. If the total value of the products selected by the winner on the Shopping Spree Day is less than $3,500, the balance of the Shopping Spree prize will be forfeited. Any costs associated with redeeming the Shopping Spree Prize are the responsibility of the winner.

23.The next two (2) valid entries drawn will each win a $500 Forrest Chase voucher.

24.The next fifty (50) valid entries drawn will each win a $20 Forrest Chase voucher.

25.Vouchers are valid for up to 12 months from the date of issue. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the voucher are not included. Any unused balance of the voucher will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the Promoter including those specified on the voucher.
26.Winners will be responsible for liaising with Forrest Chase Centre Management to arrange redemption of their prize.
27.The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process including but not limited to tampering by way of use of techniques designed to avoid the payment of MMS costs. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
28.Proof of identity to match the entry form will be required from the prize winner prior to claiming the prize. The Forrest Chase Centre Management will determine what identification is suitable for verification. Note: Forrest Chase Centre Management Office operates standard business hours only (Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm). Centre Management can be contacted on (08) 9476 7676.

29.The total prize pool is valued at $7,200.00 (including GST). Prize values are correct as at 20 August 2010.

30.If for any reason a winner does not take a prize or an element of a prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
31.If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
32.The Promoter reserves the right to refuse prize redemption to any entrant that does not comply with these terms and conditions.
33.Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
34.The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, related holding companies, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
35.An entrant may opt out of receiving information from Forrest Chase, other than the introductory mail out, by following unsubscribing instructions on any E-Marketing mail out.
36.If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.
37.Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if the first prize shopping event is cancelled/postponed for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) use of a prize.
38.Each entrant consents to the access and disclosure of the information in accordance with clauses 33 and 34.
39.All prizes are offered by the Promoter in good faith and are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, unless otherwise specified.
40.In the case of a dispute or challenge, the decision of the marketing manager of the Promoter will be final. No correspondence will be entered into.
