www.myimpulse.com.au/woolworths (Promotional Website) and complete all requested details in full and submit in the manner required, the online entry form, including entering the last 4 digits of your Woolworths or Safeway receipt number.
As part of these terms and conditions you are required to keep original or copies of all receipt(s) as proof of purchase.
Terms and Conditions1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is open to all Australian residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies whom are directly associated with the conduct of this promotion are ineligible to enter the promotion.
3. Eligible Entrants aged under 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter the promotion and provide personal information about themselves. All entries of Eligible Entrants who are under the age of 18 years and enter the promotion without disclosing (or attempting to conceal) their age (as and where required) and/or do not provide the required parental consent (as and where required) will be deemed invalid. These Conditions of Entry will bind the Eligible Entrants and any parent or legal guardian who gives their consent (for Eligible Entrants aged 18 years and under). If any prize winner is aged under 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian who consented to the Eligible Entrant entering the promotion, at the discretion of the Promoter. Winners under the age of 18 years of age will be permitted to attend the trip to NYC or Paris, however will require a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult to accompany them as their selected partner for the entire duration of the trip.
4. Incomplete, or indecipherable entries or claims will be deemed invalid.
5. Promotion commences at 9.00am AEDT on 23rd August 2010 and entries close at 5.00pm AEDT on 19th September 2010 (âPromotional Periodâ).
6. The Prize Draw will take place at Mass Media Studios, Level 4, 68 â 72 Wentworth Ave, Surry Hills NSW 2010 on Wednesday 22nd September 2010 at 11.00am AEDT.
7. The first valid entry drawn from all valid entries received during the Promotional Period, can chose to take one (1) of the following prize options -
a) New York City
Return economy flights to JFK Airport from the winners nearest capital city, airport and hotel transfers in New York City, 5 nights accommodation at the Bryant Park Hotel. The winner will also receive AU$5,000 spending money and two (2) Nikon Coolpix S3000 cameras. All other ancillary costs including, but not limited to - transport from the winner and their companions hotel to the airport in their nearest capital city, travel insurance, and other meals are not included in this prize. Total Prize Pool is valued at up to RRP AU$25,898.
B) Paris
Return economy flights to Charles De Gaulle Airport from the winners nearest capital city, airport and hotel transfers in Paris, 5 nights accommodation at the Sublim Eiffel Hotel including breakfast each day. The winner will also receive AU$5,000 spending money and two (2) Nikon Coolpix S3000 cameras. All other ancillary costs including, but not limited to - transport form the winner and their companions hotel to the airport in their nearest capital city, travel insurance, and other meals are not included in this prize. Total Prize Pool is valued at up to RRP AU$25,498.
8. Winner and their companion must be available to take the prize before 31/10/2011. All inclusions are subject to availability at the time of booking and travel cannot be taken during peak periods and special events. If the winner and their companion are not available, the Promoter will contact further draws in order to find a winner who is available.
9. The Promoterâs decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Prize Winner will be contacted by phone and mail or email. The name of the winner will be published in The Australian on the 28th September 2010.
10. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, at any time during or after the promotion, and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant (and ALL entries submitted by that entrant) for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to the use of techniques designed to avoid payment of call costs, for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
12. Multiple entries are permitted however entry is limited to one entry per Impulse product purchased in a participating Woolworths or Safeway store during the promotional period. Proof of purchase for every entry submitted, in the form of a photocopy or an original store purchase receipt(s), must be provided on the Promoterâs request in order to claim the prize. Where a copy of the receipt is not provided on request, or the receipt(s) record(s) a purchase outside of the promotional period, the entry will be deemed invalid and the prize will be re-drawn in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
13. Maximum of 5 entries per person, per day. Per person will be defined as the email address used for online entry.14. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted from that source and by those entrants invalid.
15. Cost of accessing the Internet is the entrantâs responsibility. Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website are the entrantâs responsibility and are dependent on the internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly shall invalidate the entry. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incomplete or incomprehensible entries. All such inaccurate entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. Any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be invalid.
16. The Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw if necessary at the same time and place as the original draw on 17th December, 2010 in order to distribute any prize/s unclaimed by that date, subject however to any directions from a regulatory authority. Any winners in the unclaimed prize draw will have their name published in The Australian on 23rd December 2010.
17. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance of the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
18. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
19. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will not be redeemable for cash.
20. In the event that a prize is not available despite the Promoterâs reasonable endeavours to procure the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal recommended retail value, subject to any written directions from a relevant Regulatory Authority.
21. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
22. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Promotion, taking or using a prize or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter and any person associated with it, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
23. It is a condition of entry that the winner (and companion) may be required to execute a Deed of Acknowledgement, Release and Indemnity in a form prescribed by the Promoter in its discretion.
24. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions from a relevant Regulatory Authority.
25. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the telephone or internet user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this promotion, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this promotion including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or website, software failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries and any injury or damage to participants or any other personâs computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials in the promotion. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by a relevant Regulatory Authority, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
