Frizz Revolution Competition August 12th 2010 – September 3rd 2010

   1. Information on how to participate and prize details form part of these terms and conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
   2. This competition opens at 9.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time ("AEST") on 12 August 2010, and will continue until 5.00pm on 3 September 2010 (Competition Period).
   3. Individuals can enter this competition by: (a) going to www.facebook.com/johnfriedaaus; (b) clicking on the “Like” button to become a fan of John Frieda Australia; (c) joining the John Frieda® mailing list by entering your personal details through the John Frieda VIP tab; (d) answer the question on the VIP page, "what is your craziest frizz fighting myth?" in 150 words or less (e) Entrants must complete all of the above steps, including completing their details on the VIP tab located on the John Frieda Fan Page by logging in to www.facebook.com and clicking “Like” button on top of the John Frieda page.
   4. Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 and over except employees and immediate families of the Promoters and their associated companies and agencies. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex spouse, de facto spouse, child or step child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or 1st cousin. The Promoters are John Frieda c/o KAO Brands Australia of Level 1, 19 Prospect St, Box Hill, Victoria 3128 Australia (ABN 72 111 285 146) in co-ordination with Adam Worling Pty Ltd, 11-17 Buckingham St, Surry Hills NSW 2010 (ABN 41 125 354 798).
   5. Incomplete, illegible, indecipherable or incorrect entries will be invalid.
   6. The two best entries received during each week of the Competition Period will receive a Prize as follows: Prize = Apple iPod shuffle, 2GB valued at RRP AU$79 (incl GST) each. The total prize pool value for this competition is AU$474.
   7. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining any of the Prize winners.
   8.  Judging of the Prizes will take place at 5pm 20th August 2010, 5pm 27th August 2010 and 5pm 3 September 2010 respectively at 11-17 Buckingham Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010.
   9. All valid entries will be assessed in the judging process. The Promoters' decision regarding the award of prizes is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. Prize winners will be notified by email within 48 hours of the relevant Prize Determination Date. Prizes will be sent within 28 days of the applicable Prize Determination Date.
  11. The Promoters are not responsible for any issues in relation to accessing the John Frieda VIP tab via Facebook, as this site is run as a separate entity and there may be issues in using the Facebook website which are out of the control of the Promoters. Facebook have their own regulations in regards to information being posted within their social media pages and the Promoters refer you to those rules and conditions (available at facebook.com) which are in no way associated with the Promoters or related to this competition.
  12. The Promoters accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or entries not received for any reason.
  13. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission.
  14. If the Promoters are unable to contact a winner, that Prize shall be awarded to the next best valid entry received during the relevant week of the Competition Period. The Promoters will not be liable for a winner who cannot be contacted. Any winner that cannot be contacted forfeits their Prize and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners have 2 weeks from date of notification to respond in order to claim the applicable Prize.
  15. Entrants may enter this competition as many times as they like, provided that (a) each entry submitted is a substantially unique entry; and (b) each entry is submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements. For the avoidance of doubt, entrants are eligible to win more than one Prize during the Competition Period.
  16. Prize winners must provide a valid street delivery address. The Promoters will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the Prizes to the delivery addresses provided. The Promoters cannot guarantee that any prizes returned to the Promoters due to non-delivery at the provided address will be re-sent to the Prize winner, unless an alternative, valid delivery address is provided. The Promoters and their associated agencies, and companies associated with this competition will take no responsibility for Prizes damaged or lost in transit.
  17. The Promoters reserve the right to request winners to sign a winner’s deed of release or any other relevant forms or agreements that the Promoters deem necessary, to provide proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address in order to claim a Prize. Proof of identification, residency, age and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoters. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
  18.  The Promoters' decision in relation to any aspect of this competition is final and binding on each person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
  19. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any tax liabilities or other costs associated with, or that may arise from, winning a Prize.
  20. All entries become the property of the Promoters. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoters may use entrants' names and addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes unless otherwise advised by the entrant by calling the Promoter on 1800 468 318 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              1800 468 318      end_of_the_skype_highlighting. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoters and not to Facebook. The information entrants provide will only be used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this competition must be directed to the Promoters and not to Facebook.
  22. The Promoters reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of entry, or who is engaged in any unlawful or improper misconduct calculated to jeopardize the fair and proper conduct of this competition.
  23. Each entrant releases Facebook from any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained as the result of participating in this competition or accepting any of the Prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  24. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoters will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the competition or as the result of accepting, using or consuming a Prize.
  25. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If a nominated Prize cannot be provided, the Promoters reserve the right to supply an alternative prize of similar monetary value.
