Your details are important, so we can contact you if you win! Please have a parent, guardian or teacher help you with the registration, to ensure all contact details and school details are correct. When submitting a recipe, you can choose to enter as an individual or a group, but we need one person to register first as the point of contact.

Spring harvest time is a celebration of fresh produce. Check out the In Season section to see what fresh produce is available during Spring. Pick as many of the In Season produce as you like to become hero ingredients in your recipe.

Step 3. Enter your recipe
Create a tasty recipe using your chosen produce and enter it online between 27th September 2010 and 31st October 2010. Recipe entry is open to kids Australia wide, aged 8 12 years old. Entrants must be an Australian resident, currently attending an Australian primary school (public or private).
To enter a recipe, first login then click My Account, then click Enter a Recipe. Fill in the recipe details including who created the recipe, if you have worked in a group. Other recipe details include recipe title, preparation time, cooking time, ingredients and instructions.
The recipe you enter could win big prizes, so make sure you get your parent, guardian or teacher to help you with the entry to ensure it is valid. You must check the boxes to confirm that you have read the terms and conditions, that you have permission from your parent or guardian to enter and that you have informed your school teacher that you are entering on behalf of your school.

Judging Criteria
Five major winning entries will be chosen based on the following categories:
* Most original something completely new or a new take on an old classic
* Most creative bold use of ingredients, flavours and/or technique
* Best flavour combination most harmonious and tasty use of flavours to enhance a recipe and the ingredients, in particular fresh produce
* Best ingredient combination best use of ingredients, in particular fresh produce, to create a tasty and original recipe
* Best skill showcase best use of cooking skills and techniques to create a recipe
FAQ
Do I have to be attending a Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program school to enter?
Any eligible Australian primary school student can enter, regardless of whether you attend a Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program school or not. If your school runs any type of cooking class curriculum, the school prizes can be used in the school kitchen classroom. If your school doesnt run a cooking class, the school prizes can be used for school fundraising purposes.
Who is judging the competition?
Representatives from Matchbox and the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation will select finalists based on the criteria described above and according to the competition terms and conditions. The final winners will then be chosen from the finalists, by a judging panel featuring representatives from Matchbox and the Foundation.
Im too old to enter the competition, how else can I participate?
You can still win prizes by voting for recipes or by sharing the competition with your friends. You can also follow the fun on Facebook, with regular news, competitions and event details.
What do I win?
There are over $20,000 in kitchenware prizes to be won including cookware, knives and electrical appliances by top brands such as Anolon, Scanpan, KitchenAid, Global, Circulon, Jamie Oliver, Cuisinart, Raco and more. Five major winning entries will be chosen plus a minor prize will also be awarded to the most popular recipe based on the recipe that receives the most eligible votes.

2. you may submit multiple Recipes, subject to administration approval 3. each valid entry will be evaluated against the judging criteria (Criteria) by the representatives of the Promoter and the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation (SAKGF)
4. the Criteria will involve a combination of the following: originality, creativity, use of flavours, use of seasonal fresh produce, recipe presentation (Image), appreciation of fresh food ingredients and an understanding of cooking principles and skills
5. from all valid entries submitted during the Promotional Period, five entries will be judged as the main prize winners (Main Prize Winners) under the categories Most Original, Most Creative, Best Flavour Combination, Best Ingredient Combination and Best Skill Showcase, each winning shares of the main prize pool (Main Prize) consisting of over $20,000 in kitchenware products
6. to constitute a valid entry, as part of each entry submission, entrants must certify that they have the right to distribute the submitted recipe entry and Image; that they have parent or guardian permission to enter the Promotion and that they have informed their school teacher that they are entering on behalf of their school
7. the valid entry with the most eligible online votes (Online Winner) from registered Website members will win a spot Prize (Online Prize) consisting of 1 x Scanpan Classic 26cm Frypan (valued at $210.00) and 1 x Scanpan Classic 20cm Saucepan and Steamer Insert (valued at $279.00)
8. Vote for Recipes:
1. all valid entries made live on the Website will be subject to votes from registered Website members
2. registered Website members may vote for each valid live entry (including your own entries) only once each
3. each registered Website member that submits at least one vote for any valid entry will be eligible to win the Voter Prize
4. the winner of the Voter Prize will be chosen at random from the pool of registered Website members that have placed a vote(s) for valid entries
