3. On occasion, prizes are provided to the Promoter by a third party. In this promotion, the prize has
been provided by Sportingbet Australia (ABN 55 092 468 883) (Sportingbet). The prize winner
acknowledges and agrees that the provision of the prize is the sole responsibility of Sportingbet, not
the Promoter. The prize winner agrees that the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any
delay or failure to deliver the prize. Provided the Promoter provides the name and all contact details
of the prize winner to Sportingbet within five (5) days of the prize draw, Sportingbet releases from

The judges will randomly select 4 entrants who will be given the opportunity to play.
7. There is a limit of one entry per Eligible Entrant.
8. Entrants must be over the age of 18 years. Any Entrants under the age of 18 years of age will be
automatically disqualified.
9. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries.
10. There is four (4) prizes. The prize is a cheque in the winner’s name for the amount of $2,500.
11. The prize winner will be notified of their win by a live announcement on 3AW throughout the week of
the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
12. The result of the prize draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and Eligible Entrants
(including an Eligible Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Eligible
Entrant who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at
any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
14. By accepting the prize, winners agree that Fairfax Radio, Sportingbet and the Promoter can use
their name, location, photo (taken in conjunction with the prize) and audio of winning for publicity
purposes, unless the winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting the prize.
15. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the
Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these conditions, the Promoter will
not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations and the Promoter
reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this
promotion.
16. All Eligible Entrants release from, and indemnify the Promoter and Fairfax Radio Network against,
all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of accepting the prize or participation in the competition
including (but not limited to) loss of income and/or personal injury.
17. All information collected by the Promoter will be kept for administrative purposes only. Eligible
Entrants consent to the Promoter and Sportingbet using personal information provided in
connection with this promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the promotion and
