Roll up, Roll up! Jackass 3D is in town. Prepare to be amazed as Johnny Knoxville, Steve O and the gang hit each other in the balls one more time. If that sounds jaded, it's not. Jackass without someone getting hit in the balls would be like Never Mind the Bollocks without the G chord, and besides, it's more than that. It's about getting hit in the balls a LOT; with different objects, from varying angles and with infinite variety.

If it sounds simple then that's because it is. Or is it? ... No it is, but plenty have tried to make these types of films and failed. Jackass works because it's obvious that everyone involved is having fun. Johnny Knoxville plays the slightly demented ringmaster with infectious charisma and joy; the boy who, when you were growing up, was always in the centre of trouble but never seemed to get caught.

Of course there will still be people who would rather watch French documentaries about wheat silos than embrace such lowest-common-denominator comedy but those naysayers should remember, Mozart was a huge fan of the fart joke. Did I mention this film was in 3D? Some things were just meant to happen.
