1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry. 2. The promotion is open to Australian residents who purchase the November issue of madison magazine. 3. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Only one entry per person will be permitted. 4. The promotional period commences October 4, 2010, and closes 11:59pm (AEDT) on November 30, 2010. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. 5. Participants may enter the promotion as follows: Visit madisonmag.com.au, sign up to the Napoleon Perdis database and tell us in 25 words or less what your favourite Napoleon product is and why.Include your name, phone number and address details.. 6. Entries will be individually judged, based on literary and creative merit and originality. The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The winners will be notified by phone and mail using contact details provided in their entry. The judging of entries will take place at the Promoter’s premises and will begin on December 8, 2010. 7. The best twenty entries as determined by the judges will be deemed the winners. 8. Total prize pool is valued at $2500. Prize does not include any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize. These are the responsibility of the winner. 9. Entries not completed in accordance with the rules and conditions or received after the closing date will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. 10. Prize valued in Australian dollars. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time they went online. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. 11. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and ACP Magazines Ltd (Publisher of madison magazine), including its officers, employees and agents, excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions of entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (f) redemption of a prize and/or (g) participation in the promotion. 12. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries submitted become the property of the Promoter. Entries will not be returned to any entrant. By entering this promotion, each entrant warrants to the Promoter that each entry submitted is an original artistic work of the entrant, which does not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to indemnify the Promoter against all claims and costs by third parties arising from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition. The Promoter is entitled to use any of the entries submitted for any purposes at its discretion, including (but not limited to) for any future promotion, marketing and publicity purposes.
