CLASSIC MATINEE TRIPLE BILL PRIZE PACK DVD GIVEAWAY
Beyond Home Entertainment / Region 4 / Released November 2010

A third collection of vintage British Movies gets a welcome release on DVD this month and we've teamed up with Beyond Home Entertainment for a fab prizepack featuring all five sets in the collection.

The majority of these awesome movies come from the golden age of British Cinema - the 1940's and 50's with a few other choice morsels thrown in for good measure.

First up is Classic Peter Sellers featuring the brilliant The Naked Truth (from 1957), Waltz of the Toreodors (1962) and Soft Beds, Hard Battles (1974) which sees him take on multiple roles. Next up is Classic Peter Finch which gives us three strong performances from this Australian actor - first up is Passage Home (1955) and then Simon and Laura (also 1955) and the superb No Love For Johnnie (1961) .

Classic Crime Thriller features Jack Warner in the tense My Brother's Keeper (1948), followed by Sapphire and then Michael Caine at his spying best in Sixties classic The Ipcress File. Classic Ladies gives us the femenine touch with Margaret Lockwood in Carol reed's legendary Bank Holiday (from 1938), Millions Like Us (from 1943) which stars the beautiful Patricia Roc and then I See A Dark Stranger from 1946 and starring Deborah Kerr.

The final set is Classic Horror beginning with 1933's The Ghoul starring Boris Karloff, moving on to 1971 for some erotic vampire action in Countess Dracula starring the incomparable Ingrid Pitt and finishing off with a strong twist of supernatural in 1978's The Shout with Alan Bates and John Hurt.

There is not a duff movie among this little lot, all of which are more than worthy of the attention of any classic movie fan.

Our competition runs until December 5, 2010. To be in with a chance to win one of five DVD prize packs of Classic Matinee Triple Bill all you have to do is tell us who plays Laura to Peter Finch's Simon in Simon and Laura?? Also don't forget about our rather splendid daily newsletter. If you haven't signed up for this yet then what are you waiting for, a daily hit of all the latest stories, comps, reviews, features and news happening in the world of Memorable TV.

Entries must be sent to competition@memorabletv.com and must be titled "Classic Matinee". Good Luck!
