One lucky family (two adults, two children) will score “The Golden Ticket”, entitling them to a full day of film fun at BCC Cairns Central Cinemas on Boxing Day.

Catch any one of the fantastic films on show at Birch Carroll and Coyle, including brand new flicks Gulliver’s Travels, The King’s Speech, The Tourist and Meet The Fockers: Little Fockers, or the recently released Tron: Legacy, Love And Other Drugs, Megamind and Chronicles Of Narnia: Voyage Of The Dawn Treader.

Terms and Conditions

By entering the WIN THE GOLDEN TICKET Competition you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1. PRIZES
1.1. There is one (1) prize to be won. The Prize is: unlimited access to all movies screening on the 26th of December, 2010 for two adults and two children, at Birch Carroll and Coyle Cairns Central Cinemas
1.2. The total Prize value is: $500, if winner sees every movie screened on the 26th of December, 2010, at BCC Cairns Central.
1.3. Winner must be present on Boxing Day (26th of December, 2010) at BCC Cairns Central Cinemas.
1.4. Where any prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal value at the publishing date.
1.5. Prize must be collected from BCC Cairns Central Cinemas on Boxing Day (26th of December, 2010).
1.6. All movie tickets must be used on the aforementioned date, as per clause 1.2. Unclaimed movie tickets cannot be redeemed for cash or movie tickets on any other day.
1.7. If for any reason the winner cannot be contacted by 1pm on Friday, December 24, the prize will be redrawn. This is to ensure that the prize is utilised.

2. HOW TO ENTER
2.1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2.2. The competition commences on Tuesday, December 21 at 09.45 (AEST) and concludes on Friday, December 24 at 10:00 ("the Competition Period")
2.3. In order to enter the competition entrants must visit www.cairns.com.au/competitions and enter their details into the corresponding competition.
2.4. Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with the competition will be entered into the prize draws. All draws will take place at The Cairns Post Pty Ltd, 22-24 Abbott Street, Cairns, Queensland, 4870.
2.5. At times a third party promotional partner will be involved in the promotion. As part of the Terms & Conditions of entry you agree to receive promotional emails from the competition’s third party.
2.6. The prize winners will be notified by phone. If for any reason the winner cannot be contacted by 1pm on Friday, December 24, the prize will be redrawn.
2.7. The Promoter's decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
2.8. Entrants (including winners) in the competition may enter as many times as they like. On occasion entry will be limited to one entry per email address.

3. WHO CAN ENTER?
3.1. Entry is open only to residents of Far North Queensland due to the fact that the prize provider is unable to provide the prize outside of that geographical area.
3.2. Entry is open only to persons aged 18 years or older, and proof of age and residency (eg. Drivers licence) must be shown upon request.
3.3. Employees and their immediate families of The Cairns Post Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and third party competition companies are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

4. NO LIABILITY
4.1. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter's ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to State Legislation.
4.2. The Cairns Post Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail, which are not as a result of fault of the Promoter.
4.3. The Cairns Post Pty Ltd and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
4.4. If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including, but not limited, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to State Legislation.
