Terms and Conditions

1. Information on how to enter form part of these conditions. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is only open to NSW residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter the promotion.
3. The period for entry into the promotion commences at 10.00am AEST December 2 and closes 4.59pm AEST December 14.
4. To enter, log on to your participating local Cumberland Courier Newspaper website, follow the prompts and tell us in 25 words or less why your family would love to do the BridgeClimb. Also enter your valid name, address, email address and daytime phone number OR write your answer and your name, address, email address and telephone number on the back of an envelope* and send to BridgeClimb Competition, PO BOX 662, Parramatta CBD DC, NSW 2124. *One entry per person only.
5. Prize for each paper is one family (2 adults & 2 children) BridgeClimb pass vakyed at $692.
a) Prize valid until December 15, 2011.

c) To participate in The Bridge Climb, The Discovery Climb or The Express Climb, the prize letter
recipient (“Climber”) must meet BridgeClimb’s standard health and safety conditions, available at
http://www.bridgeclimb.com/theClimb/safety.htm. Climbers will need to take into account any
medical conditions they may have that may impact on their ability to climb vertical ladders and
steep slopes safely.
d) Climbers must be over 10 years of age and be physically fit. All 10 to 15 year-old
Climbers must be accompanied by a paying adult Climber (or may use an adult Gift
Certificate or prize letter).
e) The level of exertion and exhilaration is dependent on the Climb experience chosen by the
Climber. The experience is between 2¼ and 3½ hours depending on the climb chosen and
potentially exposes participants to all weather conditions.
f) All Climbers will be breath tested and must register a blood alcohol content reading of less than
0.05%. Climbers who fail this test will not be permitted to Climb and entrants will not be offered an
alternate prize.
g) Climbers must complete a declaration form and satisfy BridgeClimb’s terms of trade. These are

i) The exclusion periods are between 15 December 2010 and 15 January 2011 inclusive or on
national public holidays. Prizes cannot be varied or extended.

6. The competition will be drawn at 9am AEST December 15.
7. This is a promotion based on skill, with twenty winners picked based on humour, creativity and originality of their answer. Winners will be notified by mail. The judge’s decision is final.
8. All competitions are conducted at 142-154 Macquarie St, Parramatta, NSW 2150.
9. The total prize pool for this promotion is maximum $13,840 AUD only.
10. Any additional expense incurred as a result of winning this prize is the responsibility of the winner,
11. Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash. Prize to be claimed within three months of draw date.
12. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
a. inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
b. purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
c. any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
d. the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website;
e. unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
f. electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
g. any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
h. any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant’s or any other person’s computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
13. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
14. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
