There’s no doubt that Two Door Cinema Club have been dominating radiowaves and iPod playlists all year. And it’s little wonder, as the appeal of their bright, breezy pop is instant. Tourist History is the name of the Northern Irish threesome’s sparkling debut and chances are that by now you’ll be familiar with the delirious Something Good Can Work and I Can Talk. We refuse to call it “irresistible” but it is un-apologetically optimistic and really, really fun.
Two Door Cinema Club kill it in the live arena too, and they seem to be growing in worldwide stature by the second. Having stormed the stage at Splendour in the Grass in 2010, as well as selling out their own headline shows around the country, the band are heading back down under in early 2011 as part of the Laneway Festival. inthemix is pleased as punch to be presenting their sideshows in Sydney, Melbourne and Byron Bay,
