THE 12 DAYS OF INTHEMIXMAS - RULES, WE KNOW WHO HAS BEEN NAUGHTY & NICE!

[1] Entry is open only to residents of Australia only. You must also be a registered member of inthemix.

[2] You can enter as many competitions as you like across the 12 days of the promotion, however you can only use ONE username/login per day. Any user found to be entering multiple times with different aliases will be disqualified.

[3] Make sure your address information in your user profile is up to date, as this is how we’ll know where to send your prize should you win. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected prizes.

[4] Each day’s task will be revealed at 9am AEDST via 'The 12 Days Of inthemiXmas' forum, and entries will be accepted until 9am AEDST the following morning. All details on how to participate in the prize draw for that applicable day will be posted in the relevant forum thread.

DAY 1 - THE TASK!

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock the size of Oprah you’ll know by now that Daft Punk produced the soundtrack for the new film TRON: LEGACY. For you day 1 of our Christmas countdown we have 25 in-season double passes to giveaway to see the movie, so we’re asking you to find your favourite Daft Punk related YouTube clip and embed it in this thread for the chance to win.

When you embed the clip be sure to tell us why it’s your fav in a sentence or two. Be as creative as possible when searching for your clip and giving us your description (ie, don’t just embed the clip for ‘Around The World’ and expect to win), and also aim to avoid embedding a clip someone else has already put up.

Don’t know how to embed a YouTube video? It’s easy - just click the button above the text box when you’re on the thread reply window, then paste the URL of the YouTube video in between the ‘MEDIA’ tags.

DAY 2 - THE TASK!

Each year boys and girls around the world send impassioned letters to the North Pole asking for a new shiny bike that Christmas. If you read the widely circulated 2004 scientific report into ‘Why Santa doesn’t exist’ (I do, by the way, clearly), you might remember the fact that I have roughly 91.8 million homes to visit each December 25th. It’s not entirely practical for me to carry a bike to each of them... so that’s why some of those year you got a Lego set instead. Sorry about that.

How about I make it up to you! If you win today’s prize you’ll be the hippest kid on your block with a custom designed fixed gear bicycle from Mojo Bikes. To win I just want to know what was the crappiest Christmas present you ever got? Be funny and creative, don’t just say ‘socks’. Include pictures or video to illustrate your story, where possible. There’s four of these puppies to giveaway, and since they’re delivered direct to your door I won’t have to try and fit them on my sleigh this year, so everybody wins!

DAY 12 - THE TASK!

This is it; we’ve come to the end of our 12 DAYS OF INTHEMIXMAS. What a crazy ride it’s been! We’ve given away more than 100 individual prizes already, but I’m sure most would argue we’ve saved the best for last...

For the final day of INTHEMIXMAS we’ve got our hands on a fully loaded Stanton DJ setup, including two turntables (they play those big black round things people call ‘vinyl’) with cartridges, a mixer and headphones.

What do you have to do for a chance of winning? This time around I’m looking to spread some Christmas cheer and positive vibes, so I’m asking everyone out there to tell the story of their favourite “inthemix memory”.

It might have been a news story you once read that got you excited for a party, or a forum thread that made you laugh. It could have been getting your photo taken at a club, winning one of our thousands of competitions we’ve run over the years, or heading to any of the events we’ve put on. Basically, tell us about the time you sat back and thought; ‘inthemix really is the best website in all of the internets!’

Use any extras you can to tell your story. Links, pictures, video, anything. The more creative the better. You just might wake up on Christmas morning the proud new owner of a Stanton DJ setup!
