Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter this competition and prizes form part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the draw is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. Entry is via

www.jonoanddano.com.au 2. Entry into this promotion is open to all Australian residents aged 10 years and over. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter. Employees of mcm media and their immediate families, associated agencies of mcm media and companies associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion. Any person who within 365 days prior to the day on which the promotion first commenced has won a prize in value which is greater than or equal to $100 from another mcm media promotion is not eligible to enter.
3. To enter the promotion, Entrants are required to go to

www.jonoanddano.com.au and click through to ?Banana Boat Competition? and successfully complete a simple interactive game. The participant will then be asked to register their details. Entrants will be required to leave their details including name, date of birth, address, phone number and e-mail address. One complete and valid registration will provide the entrant one entry in the draw.
4. Incomplete, incorrect and incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid.
5. Only one complete online registration will be accepted per day (midday to midday) from the same person. Multiple registrations in the same day will not provide multiple entries. Any participant who completes more than one online registration form per person, per day (midday to midday) will have all entries apart from their original entry on that day deemed invalid.
6. After successfully completing an online registration and confirming that they have read, accepted and understood these terms and conditions, participants will then be given the opportunity to "Refer A Friend" by sending their friend an e-mail that contains a hyperlink to the promotion. The participant will receive one (1) entry (subject to successful completion of the game and all entry requirements) into the draw for each referred friend who enters by clicking on the hyperlink. A limit applies of one (1) entry into the draw per friend referred. Incomplete, incorrect or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. The refer-a-friend must be a person that the entrant has an existing relationship with and any spam or referrals using their own details will be disqualified. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any entries not received or included for any reason, including due to technical or other failure.

8. The cost of accessing the promotional website will be dependent on the entrant?s individual Internet Service Provider and the responsibility of the entrant.
9. The competition commences on Monday 15 November 2010 at 12:00pm (AEDT) and registration commences at this time. All registrations must be received by 12:00pm (AEDT) on Thursday 23 December 2010.
10. The Major and daily draws will take place at the premises of Beinteractive Pty Ltd, Level 8, 155 George Street Sydney NSW 2000 at 09:30am (AEDT) on Friday 24 December 2010. The winners will be notified in writing and the Major winner will have their details published in the public notices section of The Australian Newspaper on Wednesday 6 January 2011.
11. The Promoter shall conduct such further draws as may be necessary at 11:30am (AEDT) at Beinteractive Pty Ltd, Level 9, 155 George Street Sydney NSW 2000 on Thursday 7 April 2011 to distribute any Prizes unclaimed by that date subject to State Regulation. Any winners will be notified in writing and winners of prizes over $250 will have their details published in The Australian Newspaper on Thursday 14 April 2011.
12. Major Prizes: There will be 1 x major prize winner. The major prize winner will receive the following:
A holiday to the Gold Coast for 4 adults including:
4 x economy airfares from the winners nearest capital city to Coolangatta
5 x nights? accommodation in a minimum 3 ½ star hotel
$500 spending money
Airport / Hotel Transfers
The total major prize pool is valued at a maximum of $5,000.00
13. Daily Prizes: There will be 38 x daily prize winners. Daily prizes will be awarded as outlined in Table A.

The total daily prize pool is valued at a maximum of $4,900.00
14. The total prize pool is valued at a maximum of $9,900.00
15. The Major winner (and their companions) are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes (including departure taxes), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
16. The Major winner and travelling companions must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure. If the winner resides in Queensland then the flight component of the prize will not be included and the winner and their travelling companions will responsible for making their way to and from the hotel on the Gold Coast.
17. Government taxes are an additional cost to the winner and their travelling companions and are required prior to ticketing.
18. If the winner is under the age of 18 as at the date of the draw, an adult must accompany the minor in the participation of the prize.
19. The prize must be taken by 21 June 2011 and is subject to hotel and flight availability. The prize is not available during peak times such as public holidays and school holidays and cannot be changed once the booking has been made.
20. Air tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. Flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airlines departure city and their current flight schedule. Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline.
21. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.
22. It is the traveller?s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the travellers.
23. Only one prize per household will be awarded (SA residents are entitled to win more than one prize).
24. In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby assigns to the Promoter all right, title and interest in and to all copyright in any material created pursuant to the winner?s participation in any aspect of the prize (Works). The winner acknowledges that the Promoter is free to use the Works and to exercise its rights in relation thereto and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
25. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. All registrations are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter?s database, and not at the time of transmission by the participant.
26. All prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. If the prizes are unavailable for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of similar value subject to state regulation.
27. The Promoter and each of their related bodies corporate, associated agencies and companies associated with this competition will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person?s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
28. Should a participant?s contact details change during the competition period, it is the participant?s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
29. mcm media and each of their related bodies corporate, associated agencies, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for any delay in delivery once prizes have left the Promoter's premises.
30. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address, and/or proof of entry validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof of identity, the winner will forfeit their prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
31. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) but no further use of this information will be made without prior consent. Entrant?s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
32. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to state regulation.
33. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state regulation.
34. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the competition or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
