Information regarding how to enter, how to claim and details of prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these conditions of entry.

Entry is only open to Australian residents except for the directors, management and employees of the Promoter, its related companies and agencies, the immediate families of the above listed persons, and directors, management and employees of companies, business or individuals associated with this promotion.

The competition will commence at 9:00:00 AM Wednesday, 18 August 2010and will end at 9:00:00 PM Wednesday, 19 January 2011.

Consumers can gain entry by either registering online at wwww.autoone.com.au or by filling out a form from any one of our participating stores.
* The winner of the $5000 voucher will be automatically drawn at 10:00:00 AM Thursday, 20 January 2011 and will be notified by email and phone. Draw will take place at Auto One Head office: Unit 1/40 Carrington Rd, Castle Hill, NSW, 2154.

Instant prize (total retail value of $10,497.50) winners will be randomly drawn during the duration of the competition. Winners of online subscribers will be instantly notified of their win followed by and email confirming their win. Winners of in store subscribers will be notified by email when their forms are entered online.

All entries will be drawn automatically on a computer.

All entrant details will be added to the Auto One A1 Club member database and will be used for the compilation of a mailing list.

No prohibited items will be given away as Prizes.

The Permit number and the Terms and Conditions will be displayed as required.

All entries must be received during the Promotion Period. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over mobile telephone communications, networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The value of the prizes is accurate as at the commencement of this promotion.

The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. In the event whatsoever a winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the Prize. Prize value is GST inclusive.

If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of that prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry. At the Promoter's request, the prize winner must, and where relevant, must procure that the winner's companions, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material.

Major Prize winners details will be published on the Auto One website as well as have their name published in "The Australian" national newspaper on Monday the 31st of January 2011.

The Promoter may require entrants to validate any one or all of their entries in the promotion at any time during the promotion prior to being eligible to claim a prize. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.

Promoter accepts no responsibility for the damage, lateness or loss of prize during postage transit.

If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, vehicle mechanical failure, Ill health, poor weather conditions or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to any written directions of any relevant authority.

All prizes must be awarded. Any un awarded prizes will be redrawn 1 week after initial contact to original winner. Winners of re-drawn entry will be notified by a phone call on their win.

Internal quality control matters will not be used as a reason for refusing payment of prizes unless due to ineligibility under these terms and conditions, all existing claims for prize will be met not withstanding the advertised prize pool has been exceeded.

The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify all entries from any person, and prohibit that person's further participation in this promotion, who tampers with, or benefits from any tampering with, the entry process or the operation of the game, acts in violation of these terms and conditions, acting in a disruptive manner, or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

In the event of the prize not being accepted or claimed on the day of the Prize Draw, the relevant winner's entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct such further draws at the same time and as are necessary to distribute the unclaimed prize, subject to any written directions given by any relevant authority. Winning entries from the original draw will not be eligible to win unclaimed prizes.

Any unclaimed prizes will be put into a prize pool with all original entrants gaining the chance to win another prize. Winners will be drawn at 10:00am AEST on the 25th of April 2011. Winners will be called and emailed to be notified of their win. Major prize winners details will be published in the Australian on Monday the 2nd of May 2011. The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (including but not limited to that arising from any person�s negligence) in connection with this promotion and/or any aspect of any prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

The states of SA, NT and ACT are not included in this competition.

The Promoter and their associated agencies and companies accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winning. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of the competition results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office's stated view that where the parties are at arm's length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.

All entries will be the property of the Promoter. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion.
