Never before have classic Marvel characters such as Iron Man and the X-Men been seen in such mesmerising fashion. In Astonishing X-Men: Gifted (which is put together by Joss "Buffy" Whedon and John Cassaday) there is the air of a brand new era with Cyclops and Emma Frost bringing the X-Men team back together but the news about their mutant gene quickly gets out causing panic on the streets.
Iron Man: Extremis sees Tony "Iron Man" Stark having to deal with a deadly serum that threatens the very existence of mankind. Spider-Woman: Agent of Swords sees Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman joining the organisation known as S.W.O.R.D. (the sentient world observation and response department) which uses its agents to counter alient terrorist threats.
Finally there is Black Panther where we head to the heart of Africa where the ancient civilisation of Wakenda is under threat but undefeatable warrior T'Challa known as The Black Panther plams to make sure his country stays safe.
Incredible stuff, stunning animation and definitely not for kids (all four of the titles are rated either M or MA15+) these Marvel Knights are also nicely put together with their digipack fold out packaging, all have extras that range from music videos, trailers and behind the scenes moments.
