Entry into the promotion commences 15/11/2010 and closes at midnight AEST on 12/12/2010 (promotion period);
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who enter online at
www.chiko.com.au during the promotional period;
Persons may enter as many times as they like and must provide the following details including name, age, address, email address,
contact number, how they found out about the competition and indicate whether they are happy to receive further communication from Chiko via email;
The draw will be held on 15/12/2010 at 1:00pm at the Simplot office (2 Chifley Dr, Mentone, Vic 3194);
The total value of prizes available in the promotion is up to $10,000 (1 major prize of a home theatre system valued at $6,000 and 250 minor
prizes of a family guy DVD $16 each);
Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. The promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for a similar prize of equal or greater
value should the stated prize not be available for any reason at the time of prize distribution;
All entrants, by entering the competition, hereby consent to receiving the "Food 4 Thought" publication. All prize winners will be notified in writing and
published in the Food 4 Thought magazine delivered on the 07/02/11. Prizes will be delivered by mail to prize winners;
In the case of the major prize, the promoter will contact the winner to arrange delivery by courier;
Winners of any unclaimed prizes will be notified in writing and in the case of the major prize will be published on in Food for Thought on the 07/04/11;
If any prizes are unclaimed, a redraw will be held at 1:00pm on the 15/03/2011 at the Simplot office (2 Chifley Dr, Mentone, Vic, 3194);
Any entry not completely or legibly filled out, including the entrant's name, will be deemed invalid and a further entry or entries will be selected until a valid entry is drawn;
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims/entries and claimants (including entrant's identity, age) and to disqualify any entrant who submits a claim/entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry or claims process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. No responsibility is accepted for any late, lost or misdirected entries. Any entry or not complying with these Terms and Conditions of Entry, in any way, will be deemed invalid;
In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the promotion or awarding of a prize, the decision of the promoter will be final and no correspondence will be entered into;
If, for any reason, any part of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of any part of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right , in its sole discretion, (a) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the claim/entry process, or may benefit from such tampering, and (b) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend any or all of elements of the Promotion, subject to the written directions from any regulatory authority. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry or claim process;
Entrants consent to the promoter using the entrant's name in the event they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition, and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the promoter;
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter, its employees and agents, shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including negligence), which is suffered, incurred or sustained in any way except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law;
