The highly anticipated historical drama The King's Speech tells the moving story of King George VI (Colin Firth) and the relationship he developed with speech therapist Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush), who helped the King overcome his stammer.

The beautifully cinematic supporting music is crafted by Alexandre Desplat, the French composer who wrote the Golden Globe-winning score for The Painted Veil. He has also received Academy Award nominations for his musical work on Fantastic My Fox, The Queen and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
