COM PETITION TERM S AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions.
Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. This competition is restricted to residents of the State of Victoria and is open to natural
persons only. All employees of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and the
immediate families of such employees are ineligible to enter.
3. To enter, persons must purchase one or more RACV member ticket/s to any theme
park, attraction, show or event RACV is promoting from 15 December 2010 through to
31 January 2011 and the y will be entered into the competition (the “promotional period”).
4. The Prom oter reserves the right, at an y tim e, to verify the validit y of entries and entr ants
(including an entrant’s identit y, age and place of res idence) and to disqualif y any entrant
who subm its an entr y that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who
tam pers with the entr y process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at an y
stage does not constitute a waiver of thos e rights.
5. Incom plete, indecipherable or illegible entr ies will be deem ed invalid.
6. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Prom oter reserves the right, in its
sole discretion, to determ ine the identit y of the entrant.
7. Com petition comm ences 8am AEST 15 December 2010 and closes at 11:59pm AEST
31 January 2011.
8. The total prize pool is valued at $629 and consists of one (1) prize of an Apple iPad W iFi
16GB.
9. The draw will tak e place at RACV, 550 Pr inces Highway, Noble Park North, Victoria 3174
on Monda y 14 February 2011 at 10.00am AEST. The first entry drawn that fulfils the
com petition entr y criteria will win the Apple iPad.
10. If a prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable, the Prom oter, in its discretion, reserves the right
to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or
specification, subject to an y wr itten directions from a regulator y authority.
11. If a winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner ’s parents or
guardians.
12. The winner will be notified by telephone, m ail and published on rac v.com .au
13. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or tak en as cash.
14. The Prom oter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. If necessar y, a second c hance draw will be held to distr ibute the unclaim ed prize on
Monday 28 February 2011 at the sam e tim e and place as the initial draw. The winner of the
second chance draw will be notified b y m ail..
16. If this prom otion is interfered with in any wa y or is not capable of being conducted as
reasonabl y anticipated due to any r eason be yond the reasonable control of the Prom oter,
the Prom oter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent perm itted b y law
(a) to disqualif y an y entr ant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulator y
authorit y, to m odif y, suspend, term inate or cancel the prom otion, as appropriate.
17. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers,
employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury;
or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or
consequential, whether to an entrant, winners or any guests of winners, or any other
person, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising
out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not
under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not
after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the
Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (e) use of a prize.

19. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for
this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize
suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on
providing this information. Name and address details of entrants may be used as a mailing
list for future promotions and marketing carried out by the Promoter, including via electronic
messages and telephoning the entrant. Entrants can request to access, update or correct
information or request not to receive information about future promotions by calling 13
RACV (137 228).
