Terms and Conditions
By entering the Seven Network and Universal Pictures ‘The Dilemma’ Competition (“the Competition”), you
are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia over the age of 18 years or older, where the
Channel Seven signal is received. All entrants must be over the age of 18 to enter to enter this competition.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Universal Pictures
International (Australasia) Pty Ltd, MNET Group Limited, Yahoo!7, and their associated agencies and
companies are not eligible to enter.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1 The Competition commences on Wednesday 22 December 2010 08:00 (AEDT) and concludes on Monday 17 January 2011 12:00 (AEDT) (“the Competition Period”).

3.2 Entrants must watch Channel Seven throughout the Competition Period wherein a Competition spot will air
from time to time during commercial airtime.
3.3 The Competition spot will invite viewers to enter the Competition.
a) To enter, viewers must register their entry by sending a text message/SMS to 19 777 277 and
registering their full name, state and postcode.
b) Logging-on to www.yahoo7.com.au/thedilemma to register for the Competition. Online entrants will
be required to register their details including their name, full address, postcode, state, daytime phone
number and email address.
3.4 SMS entrants can register as many times as they like.
3.5 Only one entry per person per day will be accepted from entrants online. No scripting is allowed for online
entries (which will be deemed invalid).
3.6 All entries must be received by Monday 17 January 2011 at 12:00 (AEDT) to be included in the prize draw.
3.7 The time of entry for SMS entrants will in each case be the time the SMS is received by the MNET Group
Limited database. The time of entry for online entrants will be the time at which the completed online entry
form is received by the Competition online database. Online entrants will be presented with a confirmation
page once the completed email entry is submitted by the entrant.
3.8 For SMS entrants, each entry must be charged to a mobile account and SMS entries via the internet,
computer generation or “scripting” are invalid and will not be accepted.
3.9 Each SMS entry will be charged at premium rate, namely $0.55 (including GST), which covers the entry and
the reply message. SMS entrants will receive a reply message to their entry.
3.10 All entrants must be over the age of 18 years or older to enter to enter this competition

CONDITIONS
· Travel dates from 19th January 2011 – 30th April 2011 (excluding Easter

and Easter periods)
· Comprehensive travel insurance is included. Provided by Columbus and World
Nomads.
· All elements of the prize are subject to availability with no cash alternative and
the prize package is non-transferable and non-refundable. Winner(s) cannot
change, vary, substitute or extend any element of the prize (in whole or in part).
· If winner is unable to fulfil prize during time period, winner forfeits the prize
package with no compensation or further liability of the promoter. Cash will not
be awarded in lieu of the prize.

Maximum prize value is $9,724AU (including GST). Prize values are based upon the recommended retail
prices and are correct as at 6 December 2010. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any change in prize
value between that date and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken. The winners are not entitled to
receive any money from any party if there is a difference between the maximum prize value and the actual
prize value at the time of the draw. Winners must take the prizes as offered. Prize is non-transferable, nonrefundable,
cannot be sold or exchanged for cash, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
The prize will not be transferred and the winners are not entitled to redeem the prize for cash if the winner is
unable to take the prize as stipulated in clause 4.2.
4.3 Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the
winners. The winner (and their companion) are responsible for all meals, spending money, transfer costs,
transportation costs, levies, fees, visas, entertainment, incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service,
telephone calls, activities, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, travel insurance (if over
and above US$100 as stated in clause 4.2.) and all other ancillary costs not specified in these terms and
conditions are the responsibility of the major prize winner. The Major prize winner is responsible for ensuring
that all those travelling have valid passports and applicable Visas, and for online registration for the US
Immigration ESTA programme: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be
required from the major winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. All those travelling must

have valid passports and applicable Visas a valid visa is the responsibility and cost of winner for all
participants whom are taking part in the prize.
4.4 Estimated prize value may fluctuate due to time of the year the trip is taken and in relation to airline high and
low seasons. The value of this prize, itinerary and inclusions are correct at time of printing and subject to
change at any time. Any change to the prize between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed is
not the responsibility of the promoter(s).
4.5 Flights leave from the winner’s nearest capital city. The major winner and their travelling companion must
travel together on the same flight. Travel arrangements to and from the major winner’s place of residence
and their nearest capital city airport (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth) do not form part of
the prize and are the responsibility of the winner. If the major winner is from Tasmania, ACT or Northern
Territory, connecting flights from the capital cities in these states to the nearest flight departure capital city
will be included in the Prize package.
4.6 Trip and elements of the itinerary are subject to availability at time of reservation. The major winner and
their companion will have all flights and accommodation booked by the promoter from the winners nearest
capital city for them. Once booked any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or
amendment fee, at the cost of the prize winner.
4.7 Travel dates from 19th January 2011 – 30th April 2011 (excluding Easter periods) and from 30th November
2011 – 30th April 2012 (excluding Christmas and Easter periods). The major winners travel arrangements
must be made a minimum of 60 days prior to winner travel and are subject to availability. Flights and
accommodation are subject to availability at the time of booking and are non-transferable and cannot be
exchanged for other destinations or cash. Winner(s) cannot change, vary, substitute or extend any element of
the prize (in whole or in part). Embargo restrictions apply during certain periods. In the event that for any
reason a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that
element of the prize will be forfeited by the winners and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of
the prize. Any alterations to confirmed flights and/or accommodation details will be at the expense of the
winner. Airport taxes and government levies must be paid at the time of booking.
4.8 The accommodation type offered is specified in clause 4.2 and must be taken in consecutive nights’ stay,
Hotel accommodations at Belden Stratford Hotel is room, breakfast and tax only, for up to two (2) people in a
maximum of one (1) queen room for four (4) consecutive nights.
4.9 The promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any of all aspects of the prize, if
the promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition
necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner
may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
4.10 In participating in the prizes, the major winner (and their companion) agrees to participate and co-operate as
required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed
and photographed. The winner’s (and their companions) agree to grant the promoter a perpetual and nonexclusive
licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner (and their
companions) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.11 The winners agree they will not (and will ensure that their companions do not) sell or otherwise provide their
story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.12 The winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the
prize winnings.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 Each entrant who has entered the Competition over the Competition Period and who has validly registered
all their contact details in accordance with clause 3 of these terms and conditions (“Qualifying Entrant”) will
be entered into the draw. There will be one winner drawn randomly from the national pool of Qualifying
Entrants.
5.2 The major and minor draws will take place at MNET Group Limited, Level 2, 8 Leigh Street Adelaide SA 5000,
on Tuesday 18 January 2011 at 10:30 (AEDT).

5.3 The major winner will be notified by a telephone call, and a letter advising the winners of their prize will also
be express posted. The winner’s details will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian
Newspaper on Monday 24 January 2011.
5.4 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.5 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners (and their companions) must comply with all the
conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements.
5.6 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners (and their companions) may be required to sign a legal
release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
5.7 Subject to state government legislation if the major prize winner has not been contacted, or has not
contacted the promoter by Monday 18 April 2011 11:00 (AEST) an unclaimed prize draw will take place at
MNET Group Limited, Level 2, 8 Leigh Street, Adelaide, SA, 5000 on Monday 18 April 2011 at 12:00 (AEST)
and winners will be notified by mail and the winner’s name will be published in the Public Notices section of
The Australian newspaper on Monday 25 April 2011
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the
Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms
and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of
God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the
Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to government legislation.
6.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited & affiliates, Universal Pictures International (Australasia) Pty Ltd, MNET
Group Limited, Yahoo!7 and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for entries,
prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited & affiliates, Universal Pictures International (Australasia) Pty Ltd, MNET
Group Limited, Yahoo!7 and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure,
accident, injury, sickness, death, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a) during the judging;
b) whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the Competition; or
c) in the participation in any prize;
d) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
e) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material,
including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other
person.
f) in relation to failure of an SMS entry message to be received by the Promoter on account of technical
problems or traffic congestion; or
g) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or
mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
6.4 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Universal Pictures International (Australasia) Pty Ltd and its affiliates
assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or
transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of,
entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to state government
legislation.
6.5 If, for any reason, this Competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including, but not limited,
due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control
of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of
this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who
tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend the Competition, subject to government legislation.

(ABN 65 052 845 262) and its related entities (“Seven”), will be collecting the personal information of
entrants entering via SMS for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Competition (including but not
limited to determining and notifying winners and awarding the prize), The entrant may request access to his
or her personal information by writing to: Privacy Officer, MNET Group Limited, Level 2, 8 Leigh Street
Adelaide SA 5000, or e-mailing privacy@mnetgroup.com. Yahoo!7, on behalf of Seven, will be collecting the
personal information of entrants who enter online in accordance with Yahoo!7’s Privacy Policy located at
