Terms and Conditions
1 Conditions of Entry
1.1 Entry is open to all residents of the ACT and the viewing market splits of regional
NSW, Victoria and WA, (details of which are available from the Regional TV
Marketing website - http://www.regionaltvmarketing.com.au/).
1.2 Employees and their families of the PRIME Media Group, Hybrid Television
Services (ANZ) Pty Limited and their associated agencies and companies are
not eligible to enter. Entries that are deemed to be inaudible, incomprehensible,
unable to be viewed, or deemed to be offensive or illegal by the Promoter will
also be ineligible.
2 How to enter
2.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.
2.2 All entries must be submitted via the website
www.iprime.com.au and
www.igwn.com.au2.3 Participants enter the competition by registering to the iPRIME or iGWN site.
Each new registration receives one (1) entry in the competition. Participants
already registered to the iPRIME or iGWN site prior to the competition start date
will have the option to enter the competition via the registration page for one (1)
entry.
2.4 No scripting is allowed for on-line entries (which will be deemed invalid).
2.5 Participants can only register once using the same email address.
2.6 Entries will close at 11.59pm AEDST on Sunday, 06 February 2011
2.7 The competition will be promoted via in-program promotion during the news and
weather updates and television commercials shown on PRIME and GWN. As
well as via online display unit advertising.
3 Competition Dates
3.1 The competition commences on Monday, 29 November 2010 at 12.01pm
AEDST and concludes on Sunday, 06 February 2011 at 11.59pm AEDST in
which time entries will be received (The Competition Period). Entries received
outside the Competition Period will not be included in the competition.
3.2 One (1) winner will be drawn on each Monday of the promotional period from the
previous week’s entries at the location detailed in clause 4.4 below and
announced on the iPRIME and iGWN sites. Winners will be notified by phone
and email. The final draw will take place on Monday, 07 February 2011 at
10.00am AEDST at the location detailed in clause 4.4 below
4 Prizes & Prize Winner Selection
4.1 Ten (10) winners will win the following prize package:
TiVo 320 Media Device
Plus delivery
RRP - $499 per unit
Total prize package valued at $4,990
4.2 Prizes are non-transferrable, non-refundable and non negotiable and cannot be
redeemed as cash
4.3 Winners are selected using the following method:
Each new registration to the iPRIME and iGWN newsletter receives one (1) entry
in the competition. Participants already registered the iPRIME or iGWN
newsletter prior to the competition start date will have the option to enter the
competition through the registration page for one (1) entry within the Competition
Period. Each entry received is allocated a sequential number. Each Monday
during the promotional period, one (1) entry will be selected randomly from the
previous weeks pool of valid entrants as the deemed winners of the competition.
4.4 The draws will take place at the offices of Prime Digitalworks Pty Ltd ACN: 120
380 725, Suite 132, Lower Mezzanine, 19-21 Jones Bay Wharf, 26-32 Pirrama
Road, Pyrmont NSW 2009.
5 Promoter’s Decision
5.1 The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The
prize package is non-transferrable, non-refundable and non-negotiable and
cannot be redeemed as cash.
6 Unclaimed Prizes
6.1 If, for any reason, the Promoter is unable to contact the winner, or if the winner is
otherwise ineligible to receive the prize a re-draw will occur on 06 May 2011 at
10.00am AEDST. The re-draw prize selection process will take place at Prime
Digitalworks Pty Ltd ACN: 120 380 725, Suite 132, Lower Mezzanine, 19-21
Jones Bay Wharf, 26-32 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont NSW 2009 and will be
announced on the iPRIME & iGWN websites and notified immediately by phone
and /or email
7 NO LIABILITY
7.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents
or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on
the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including
but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of
God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute
discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same
conditions, subject to government legislation. Should these circumstances effect
the Promoter being able to proceed with the competition, the relevant state
legislative authorities will be consulted in advance. No changes to the terms and
conditions will be made without first consulting the relevant regulatory authorities.
(a) The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will take no
responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or
misdirected mail.
(b) The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be
liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not
limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
(i) in the use of any prize;
(ii) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
(iii) in relation to issues which interfere with the Promoter’s receipt of
entries on account of technical problems or traffic congestion; or
(iv) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of
any telephone network or lines or mobile communications
network related to or resulting from participation in this
promotion.
(v) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of
any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any
injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer
software related to or resulting from participation in this
promotion.
7.2 If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to
causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud,
technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which
corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct
of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to
disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that
may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition
subject to state government regulations.
