Contest open to Australian residents in 3 age categories: under 10 years, 10-12 years and 13-15 years.

How to crea te your en try
Decide the age group in which you wish to
enter the Contest:
a. Under 10 years
b. 10 – 12 years
c. 13 – 15 years
You must be no older or younger than the age
group you enter, at the time of entry. Please fill
in all sections on this Entry Form. A parent or
guardian must sign in the spaces provided.
Please observe the following basic rules
when creating an entry.
1. Entries must be the original creation of the
entrant, and relate only to their idea of their
‘Dream Car.’
2. While a parent or guardian’s assistance is
allowed, the entry must be the work of the
child
3. Entries must be hand-drawn, coloured
paintings or illustrations with a background,
and submitted on a sheet of paper no larger
than A3 in size. It must be 2 dimensional (flat,
no collages) and not created using a computer
or other electrical devices. Any type of paper is
permissible, and any artistic medium (any paint
including water paint, colour markers, crayons,
etc.) may be used to create an entry.
4. The entrant must be a permanent resident of
Australia at the time of entry.
5. Previously published artworks, artworks that
have been entered in any other contest and
artworks that infringe any third party rights
may not be submitted
Once you have completed your painting or
drawing, and your parent or guardian has
completed and signed both the Entry Form
and Questionnaire, place the entry and the 2
completed forms into an A3 envelope and mail

Terms and Conditions of Entry and Privacy Statement
1. Instructions and information on how to enter form part of the conditions of entry.
Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents up to15 years. Directors, management and their
employees of the Promoter and any other relevant entities involved and agencies, retailers
and suppliers associated with this promotion and the immediate family members of these
people are ineligible to enter. Entries will be accepted from children in 3 age categories:
Under 10 years; 10 – 12 years and 13- 15 years. The child must be in the age category
entered at the time of entry. Entrants must have the permission of one of their parents,
or a legal guardian to enter and that person must sign the entry form and provide their
contact details in the space provided.
Multiple entries will be accepted; however each entry
must be sent in as a separate correspondence with a separate completed copy of the entry
form & questionnaire. Prizes limited to one per entrant.3. The competition commences on 25/10/2010 and closes last mail received, by regular post,
on 31/01/2011. Entries received after the close off date will not be accepted.
4. How to enter: The entrant must draw or paint an original piece of their work depicting
their idea of ‘My Dream Car.’ Entries must be the original work of the entrant, and not of
any other person. Previously published artworks, artworks that have been entered in any
other contest and artworks that infringe any third party rights may not be submitted. To
be eligible, artworks must be related to the theme of the contest, ‘My Dream Car.’ Entries
must be submitted on paper measuring no larger than A3 (297mmx420mm) in size. Entries
must be hand created, coloured illustrations with a background and must not be created
digitally or electronically. Any type of paper is permissible, and any artistic medium (any
paint including water paint, colour markers, crayons, etc.) may be used to create an entry.
The entry must not include any collages or 3 dimensional materials. For an entry to be valid
each entry must be accompanied by a correctly completed entry form and questionnaire
which can be downloaded from

completed entry form, questionnaire and artwork to Locked Bag 5025, Neutral Bay Junction
NSW 2089.
5. Entries must be received during the competition period. No responsibility will be accepted
for late, lost, misdirected or illegible entries. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part
in determining the winner.
6. All entries become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant.
The Promoter may use, and may disclose in any newspaper, advertisement, publication,
media statement, web or other general and promotional material, any materials entrants
provide in relation to the competition for the Promoter’s promotional and business
purposes.
7. All valid entries will be judged by representatives of the Promoter based upon, among other
things, artistic and creative merit. The best 5 valid entries in each of the 3 age groups, as
determined by the judges, will be awarded the national competition prize. Winners will be
notified by email and their name and postcode will be published at
http://www.toyota.com.
au/dream-car on 28 February, 2011.
8. Entries will be judged in 2 Competitions:
National Competition: The 5 entries judged to be the best in each age category will win a
Nintendo DSi XL game console valued at $299.95 (RRP) + Art Academy DSi game valued
at $49.95. Total prize pool value for the National competition is $5,248.50. Value correct
as at 27/09/2010.World Competition: The 15 winning entries will be sent to Japan by 31/03/2011 and
entered in the World Competition with other winning entries from participating countries.
If an Australian entry is judged as one of the Top 3 in any of the age categories, they will
win a trip to Japan for themselves and one parent or legal guardian. Included in the prize
are round-trip economy class airline tickets to Japan, entry visa expenses, and travel and
accommodation expenses within Japan to be determined by Toyota Motor Corporation.
Winners are responsible for all expenses incurred for travelling to and from their nearest
airport in Australia, other domestic travel expenses, all taxes imposed on the prize and
travel insurance.The airline ticket dates cannot be altered. The trip is scheduled to take
place in August 2011. Winners will be notified of the schedule by Toyota Australia at a
later date. Toyota Motor Corporation reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value
in case the advertised prizes become unavailable
9. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter’s
decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If a prize, or element of a prize,
is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize
of equal or greater value for that prize, or element of it, subject to the approval of any
relevant authority.
10. In the event of the prize not being accepted or claimed by 01/04/2011, the relevant
winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to distribute the
prize to the next best valid entry that has not already received a prize.
10.1 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from
winning a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify all entries from any entrant
who tampers with, or benefits from tampering with, the entry process or the
competition.
11. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this promotion will not be
liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage or
personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused
by any person’s negligence) relating to this competition or the awarding or taking of the
prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is
limited to the minimum amount allowable by law).
11.1 The Promoter may use any personal information entrants provide in connection
with this competition for the purpose of running the competition, and also in
advertisements, publications, media statements and other promotional material
associated with the competition. The Promoter may disclose the information for
those purposes to its related bodies corporate and contractors, and to Toyota
dealers. If entrants do not provide the information requested they will not be able
to enter the competition. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles
contained in the Privacy Act (Cth) 1988. A copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy
can be viewed at
www.toyota.com.au. To request access to, or to update, personal
information the Promoter holds about them, entrants can contact the office of the
Promoter (an administrative fee may be imposed to access personal information).
