Four times critically acclaimed alternative rock band, Doves will be touring Australia and playing live at the Hi-Fi.
Doves are an English band with a line-up that consists of brothers Jez Williams on guitar, Andy Williams on drums and Jimi Goodwin on bass and vocals.
Friends since school, all where in well known bands before the Williams brother and Jimi Goodwin formed the dance band Sub Sub in 1991. Sub Sub produced the hit single ‘Ain’t No Love’ in 1993. When the band’s studio burnt down in 1995, the members of the band decided to put Sub Sub to bed and instead embarked on a new direction.
Doves formed in 1998, releasing three EP’s in their first year. The band has supported bands which include U2, Oasis and Coldplay.
The retrospective set lists will celebrate the bands classic tracks including Black and White Town, There Goes the Fear and Catch the Sun as well as personal band favourites from their four studio albums.

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years or over who register their details online at
www.theLBLM.com (“Eligible Entrant”). Employees of Beam Global Australia, Coca-Cola Amatil, their agents, contractors, consultants and their immediate families (including de facto spouses) or any other persons assisting with the competition are not eligible to enter.
3. The Promoter is Beam Global Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 85 003 953 357) of Level 1, Building 2, 49 Frenchs Forest Rd, Frenchs Forest NSW (“Promoter”).
4. Entries to the competition commence Wednesday, 22nd December 2010 at 5:30pm and will close on Tuesday, 8th February 2011 at 5pm NSW EST.
5. To enter the draw, Eligible Entrant entrants will be required to complete the competition entry form located online at
www.theLBLM.com. Entry is limited to one (1) per person.
6. The prize draw will take place at, Level 1, 16 Palmer Parade Cremorne VIC 3121. Winners must be prepared to travel to 125 Boundary Street, West End QLD 4101 for the event, which will take place on Tuesday, 15th February 2011, doors open at 8pm. The winner must be prepared to travel to and from the event at their own expense and through their own means.
7. The first one valid entry drawn will win a double pass valued at $70.00 AUD each and $140.00 AUD in total.
8. Total prize pool value is $140.00 AUD.
9. Winners will be contacted by telephone and email and winner’s names will be posted on theLBLM.com on Tuesday, 8th February 2011.
10. Prize Special Conditions: Winners must be prepared to travel to 125 Boundary Street, West End QLD 4101 for the event, which will take place on Tuesday, 15th February 2011, doors open at 8pm. The winner must be prepared to travel to and from the event at their own expense and through their own means.
11. The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, including but not limited to, anyone who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry.
12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
13. All winners agree to drink responsibly and abide by the RSA laws of the governing state.
14. Prize is not transferrable. No correspondence will be entered into.
15. In the event of an unclaimed prize within 3 months of the original prize draw, a second chance prize draw will be conducted at the same time and address of the original draw on Tuesday, 8th February 2011. Winners will be notified by telephone and in writing within 2 days.
16. All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering the competition entrants understand and agree that the Promoter (and its affiliates and companies that work for the Promoter) may use and disclose the information provided by them by entering the information into a database for future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, subject to any applicable privacy laws.
17. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages.
