1. Information on how to enter and prize details forms part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is open to permanent residents of Australia only. Entrants who are under 18 years old must obtain their parent or guardian's permission to enter the Competition. Employees of TVSN and their subsidiary agents and members of their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
3. To enter, purchase a piece of Splendido jewellery from TVSN between 9.30am (AEDT) on Wednesday December 1, 2010 and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) on Thursday March 31, 2011 and you will automatically go into the draw. Each order containing a piece of Splendido jewellery equals one entry.
4. Competition begins at 9.30am (AEDT) on Wednesday December 1, 2010 and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) on Thursday March 31, 2011. The winner will be drawn and announced live on air on Wednesday May 11, 2011 during What's In Store between 9:30-10:30am. The draw will take place at the TVSN Studio - 431 Warringah Rd, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086.
5. Orders returned under the TVSN '30 Day Money-back Guarantee' lose their status as competition entries. TVSN reserve the right to withhold a prize from a winner if the prize winner's TVSN account is in arrears. It is at the Promoter's discretion whether they award the prize after a portion of the outstanding debt is paid or the entire balance. If the prize is withheld due to an account in arrears and the prize winner does not pay their outstanding debt within 3 months of being drawn as a prize winner, the prize winner forfeits their prize and TVSN will draw another winner as part of an unclaimed prize draw.
6. If a prize remains unclaimed, TVSN will conduct a further unclaimed prize draw at 12pm on 16/08/11. The unclaimed prize draw will take place at the TVSN marketing office - 431 Warringah Rd, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086. The winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by mail, phone and published in The Australian newspaper on 22/08/11.
7. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize of equal or greater value and/or specification - subject to the relevant state authority approval.
8. Subject to relevant state authority approval, the Promoter reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Promotion at any time.
9. Subject to relevant state authority approval, the Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, at any time before the awarding of the Prize to cancel the competition or to vary or cancel the award of the Prize including, without limitation, circumstances where in the Promoter's opinion (which it shall form in its absolute discretion): (a) a Prize winner does not satisfy the Competition entry requirements; or (b) the Promoter cannot conduct the Competition or award the Prize for any reason beyond its control. Subject to relevant state authority approval, in the event that the Promoter cancels the Competition or varies or withdraws the Prize it shall not:
(a) be liable to any person for any loss or damage (including loss or damage caused by any negligence) arising out of, or in connection with, such cancellation, variation or withdrawal; and (b) be required to conduct the Competition at any other time.
10. Entrants enter the Competition at their sole risk. With the exception of liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the Prize or entering the Competition.
11. The winner will be notified by mail, phone, announced on the TVSN website (

12. There is 1 prize consisting of two return economy flights (including taxes) to Sydney from the winner's nearest capital city, 2 return economy flights (including taxes) to Rome, Italy, 2 nights accommodation in Rome, return train transfers to Arezzo for two, 2 nights 3-star accommodation in Arezzo, half day guided tour of Arezzo, dinner with Federico from Splendido, and a visit to the Splendido jewellery manufacturing plant. Meals (except for the dinner with Federico), airport transfers, taxes (except for those includedwith the flights), insurance, transport to and from departure point and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner.
13. Prize is valid for travel from June 1, 2011 to November 30, 2011, except for the blackout dates which are all Australian school and public holidays that fall on and between June 1, 2010 and November 30, 2010. Prize is subject to booking and flight availability.
14. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Prize must be taken in its complete entirety or it will be forfeited. If the winner resides in Sydney then the flight to Sydney component of the prize will not be included and no cash, transfer or exchange will be offered in lieu of that part of the prize. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian on their behalf who will be required to confirm acceptance of the terms and conditions prior to claiming any prize. The winner and their guest must be over 18 years old and hold a valid Australian passport.
15. Should the winner wish to take an extra person/s with them on the holiday (outside of the person/s allowed as part of the prize package), the winner is responsible for paying for all the expenses of the other person/s and must arrange all extra bookings for that person/s themselves. Should the winner wish to divert/extend their journey, they will also be responsible for paying all extra expenses and arranging all extra bookings themselves. TVSN will only arrange bookings for the destinations and accommodation as set out in the prize.
16. Total prize value is up to $7310. The prize value is correct at the time of printing. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of the Prize occurring between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed. All prize values are in Australian dollars.
