Terms and Conditions
Duration
The competition commences at 9am on 1st February 2011 and closes 10pm on 12th December 2011.
Method of entry
Entry is made by putting a coupon into the entry box displayed at each Mobile Office function. Entries limited to one per person at each function attended.
Eligibility
Those eligible to enter are members of Teachers Credit Union who attend a Mobile Office function held in NSW and NT between 1st February 2011 and 12th December 2011. All entrants must be 18 years of age or over.
Teachers Credit Union Directors, Members Committee members, staff and members of their family (spouse, defacto, parent, grandparent, child, stepchild, grandchild, brother or sister) are not eligible to enter.
Draw details
One (1) x $100 cash prize will be drawn from a barrel by a Teachers Credit Union Business Development Officer or Director at each Mobile Office function and their name announced immediately. The winner does not need to be in attendance to win the prize.
Four (4) x lucky door prizes up to the value of $100 each will be drawn from a barrel by a Teachers Credit Union Business Development Officer, Director or a nominee at each Mobile Office function. The winner must be in attendance to win a lucky door prize, otherwise the prize will be redrawn on the night. Winners have 4 minutes to claim their prize before a redraw occurs.
One (1) x $2,000 travel gift voucher will be drawn from a barrel by the Chief Executive or his nominee at 10.30am EST on 15th December 2011 at 28-38 Powell Street, Homebush NSW 2140.
Winner notification
The winner of the travel gift voucher will be telephoned on 15th December 2011 and sent advice by mail. The winner’s name will be published in the public notices section of The Australian Newspaper on 19th December 2011 and in the February 2012 edition of Chalkboard.
Twenty nine (29) prizes consisting of $100 cash each. Total prize value $2,900. The prize will be deposited into the winner’s Savings Account at Teachers Credit Union.
Prize details
One hundred and forty five (145) lucky door prizes will be drawn between 1st February 2011 and 12th December 2011, which consists of five (5) prizes per Mobile Office function to a maximum value of $100 each. Total prize value $14,500.
One (1) prize consisting of a $2,000 travel gift voucher redeemable at Diploma World Travel Service (ABN 63 010 167 503) valid from 16th December 2011 to 14th December 2012. This gift voucher may be used to purchase travel to that value or to go towards meeting the cost of any other travel booked with Diploma World Travel Service.
The prize(s) are not transferable and non-redeemable for cash.
Unclaimed prizes
If the $2,000 travel gift voucher and any $100 cash prizes are unclaimed, they will be redrawn on 21st March 2012 at 10.30am EST at 28-38 Powell Street, Homebush NSW 2140 subject to any direction given under applicable law.
The winners will be telephoned on 21st March 2012 and sent advice by mail. The winner’s name will be published in the public notices section of The Australian Newspaper on 23rd March 2012 and in the May 2012 edition of Chalkboard.

Winner’s consent for promotion
Entrants consent to the promoter using their name and photographs in the event they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing this promotion and promoting any products and services by the promoter.
Indemnity and disclaimer
You agree to release and indemnify Teachers Credit Union and its agents and employees from and against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury, damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
Teachers Credit Union is not responsible or liable:
•if for any reason beyond Teachers Credit Union’s reasonable control any element of any prize is not provided. Teachers Credit Union, in its absolute discretion, may substitute a different prize in place of any prize referred to in these terms and conditions
•if, for any reason, the competition is suspended, varied or terminated at any time, with or without prior warning or publicity
•for late, lost or misdirected entries
•for any change in the value of a prize occurring between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed.
All entries become the property of Teachers Credit Union.
Teachers Credit Union has the rights to exclude any person from this competition for any reason whatsoever and to amend these terms and conditions at any time or cancel the competition subject to state regulation.
