By entering the “Win a trip for 2 to LA” competition, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 Information on how to enter this competition forms part of the terms of entry.
1.2 The competition commences on Sunday 30 January 2011 at 00:01 AEDT and concludes Sunday 13 February 2011 at 23:59 AEDT (the “Promotion Period”)
1.3 The competition will be advertised on Network TEN and the TEN website www.ten.com.au.

2. ENTRY ELIGIBILITY
2.1 Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over at the time of entry. Residents of SA must be over the age of 21 years to enter.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Network Ten Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies associated with the Promotion are not eligible to enter.
2.3 Entrants are required to register and log into www.ten.com.au in order to submit their entry. Viewers may register to become a member of TEN via the website. It is free to become a member. These Terms and Conditions apply in conjunction with the TEN Members rules.

3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 To enter, participants will be required to sign into www.ten.com.au and complete the online entry form.
3.2 Entrants will required to submit their details including (but not limited to) full name, full address, phone number, email address, date of birth and the correct answer to a question.
3.3 A limit of one online entry per day is permitted and all entries must be received within the Promotion Period.
3.4 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including entries not received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery of the entry due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
3.5 Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid.

4. GRAND PRIZE DETAILS
4.1 The Grand Prize comprises 1 x trip for 2 adults to Los Angeles, USA including;
I. Return airport transfers in Los Angeles
II. 2 x Return economy airfares from the winners closest capital city in Australia to LA (including taxes)
III. 4 x nights 4 star share accommodation in central Los Angeles
IV. A two hour private salsa dancing lessons in central LA including tranfers
V. A Private love reading by Joseph Ross - LA astrologist to the stars including transfers
VI. USD$300 voucher for dinner and drinks at Opaque including transfers
Plus a choice of EITHER
Option A
VII. 1 x night 4 star share accommodation on Catalina Island including breakfast and transfers RRP $400
VIII. A two hour private sailing trip including snorkelling at Lovers Cove on Catalina Island
IX. A day spa couples treatment package including body scrub, massage or facial, manicure and pedicure RRP $600 OR
Option B
X. 1 x night 4 star share accommodation in central Los Angeles $400
XI. Exclusive VIP access to one of LA‟s top clubs - Drais Hollywood, including guest list entry and
transfers and a bottle of champagne and a reserved table (valued at USD$600)
4.2 Total Grand Prize value is up to $9,752 (including GST) depending on the winner‟s point of departure.
4.3 The Grand Prize cannot be transferred nor exchanged and is not redeemable for cash.
4.4 If the winner is under the age 21 years then they will be required to choose Option A of the prize
(excluding SA residents)
4.5 Unless otherwise stated, the winner (and their travelling companion if applicable) are responsible for
all other expenses including spending money, meals, drinks, transfers, accommodation upgrades,
meal upgrades, mini-bar, laundry charges, room service, telephone calls, travel insurance, gratuities,
service charges, activities (other than specified), incidentals and all other ancillary costs.
4.6 Flights leave from the winner‟s nearest capital city in NSW, VIC, SA, QLD or WA. The winner and their
travelling companion must travel on the same flight from the same capital city. If the winner is from
Tasmania, ACT or Northern Territory, connecting flights from the capital cities in these states to the
nearest flight departure capital city are not included in the prize package for the winner and travelling
companion. If the Grand prize winner and companion are from a regional area, travel arrangements to
and from the nearest capital city airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the
winner
4.7 The winner must be available to travel and take up this prize in whole by Wednesday, 1 February 2012
and is subject to hotel and flight availability. The prize is not available during Saturday, 10 December
2011 and Tuesday, 10 January 2012 as well as other peak times such as public holidays and school
holidays and cannot be changed once the booking has been made.
4.8 The Grand prize winner and their companion must travel together on the same flights and stay in their
allocated accommodation.
4.9 The Grand prize winner and their companion may not use „Frequent Flyer‟ points from any airline on
the travel prize and cannot upgrade any travel prize using „Frequent Flyer‟ points.
4.10 Legal aged consumers should be advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the
National Health and Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are available at:

4.11 The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the
prize, if the Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or
physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting
the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter
in its absolute discretion
4.12 The winner may be asked for their credit card details upon checking in to the hotel as security. The
room comes as is, any purchases made from the mini bar or damages made to the room will be the
responsibility of the winner.
4.13 The Grand Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. If for any reason an element of the prize
becomes unavailable for any reason, which is out of the Promoters control then a similar prize to equal
value, will be awarded in lieu.
4.14 It is the winner‟s responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited
to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government
authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of
such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the
travellers.
4.15 In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time
stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will
not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
4.16 The winners and their companion agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or
photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.17 Network TEN make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any
destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government,
local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
4.18 Once prizes have left the Promoter‟s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes
damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
4.19 Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
4.20 Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.

5. PRIZE DRAW
5.1 Each valid entrant who has entered the competition over the duration of the Promotional Period will be entered into the draw. The first valid entrant to be randomly drawn will be deemed the Grand Prize winner.
5.2 The Grand Prize draw will take place at Be.interactive, Level 8, 155 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000, on Monday 14 February 2011 at 10:00 AEDT.
5.3 The winner will be notified of their prize in writing and by a phone call within 2 days of the draw. The winner‟s details will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 21 February 2011.
5.4 The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity (including phone) in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
5.5 Should an entrant‟s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
5.6 Subject to any direction given under relevant State legislation, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Be.interactive, Level 8, 155 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000 at 10:00 (AEST) on Monday 30 May 2011. The winners will be notified of their prize in writing and winners of prizes valued over $250 will have their details published in the Public Notices section of the Australian on Monday 6 June 2011.
5.7 The Promoter‟s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Competition result.

6. STANDARD TERMS
6.1 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter. 6.4 Network Ten Pty Ltd and the prize sponsor shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter and it‟s sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or
utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
6.5 The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
