Competition Deals Gift Voucher Giveaway1) Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Competition Deals Consumer Promotion (“Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2) The Promoter is Competition Deals ABN 13 354 612 462 of Holmes Street, St Marys, NSW, 2060 (“Promoter”).
3) This Competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 or over.
4) To be eligible to enter, entrants must register their details located at
www.CompetitionDeals.com.au and agree (“Opt-In”) to receive marketing communications from the Promoter. Eligible Entrants that complete the entry details will be deemed Active Subscribers (“Active Subscriber”). Eligible Entrants must continue to be Active Subscribers and must not unsubscribe (“Unsubscribe”) in order remain as an Eligible Entrant during the Promotion Period.
5) Eligible Entrants must continue to be an Active Subscriber up until the closing date of a particular prize draw in order to receive entries in that draw. Eligible Entrant who has Unsubscribed subsequently re-registers, their former entries will not be reused and the Eligible Entrant will need to accrue new entries moving forward. All active subscribers who remain active during the promotional period will automatically be rolled into the new promotion that will start after 30/06/2011.
6) The promotion starts at 12:01am (Sydney, Australia time) 12/01/2011 and ends at midnight (Sydney, Australia time) on 30/06/2011 (“Promotional Period”). The draw to determine the winners will take place at 3:00pm (Sydney time) on 04/07/2011. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7) The winner of the Promotion will be randomly drawn from all entries received and will win a gift voucher, valued at $500.00. The winning Entrant will be given the choice to select a voucher from one (1) of the following retailers:

Winners will be contacted by the Promoter in writing (email) to confirm the winner’s residential address in order to mail a prize to the winner. All gift vouchers are subject to the gift vouchers’ prevailing terms and conditions of use including expiration dates.
8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for;
any late, lost or misdirected entries; or instances where Eligible Entrants are not automatically entered into the draw due to forces beyond the Promoter’s control.
9) Prize winners will be required to provide the Promoter with their delivery address details to facilitate delivery and acceptance of the prize.
10) The winner must claim his/her prize within 14 days of being notified. Failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeited.
11) Prize winners deem acceptance of such terms and conditions as may be imposed by its issuer from time to time. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming any voucher or pass are not included. Any unused balance of any voucher or pass will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of any voucher or pass is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the voucher or pass.
12) Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services.
13) If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations and the Promoter reserves the rights (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this promotion.
14) If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under relevant lottery legislation) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion
15) The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or any combination thereof, including but not limited to any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Promotion.
16) Privacy Consent. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. To provide you with this Promotion, the Promoter needs to collect personal information about each Eligible Entrant. If the Eligible Entrant does not provide the information requested, the Promoter may not be able to provide the Eligible Entrant with entry into the Promotion.
17) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and continued participation in this promotion) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, who is engaged in unlawful or other misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion or who tampers with the entry process. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
18) The result of the prize draws and of any unclaimed prize draw(s) is final, and no correspondence shall be entered into.
