MTA 2010 âWiin a Carâ COMPETIITIION CONDIITIIONS OF ENTRY
1. The Promoter is MTA More Than Accountants Pty Ltd, ABN 69 137 775 located at 1917 Logan Road, Upper
Mt Gravatt, QLD, 4122, Australia.
2. Information on how to enter, all promotional material and the Prize form part of these Conditions of Entry.
Entry into the MTA âWin a Carâ Competition is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
3. The Competition commences at 12.01am (AEST) on 01/07/2010. Entries close at 4.59pm (AEST) on
30th April 2011.
4. The winner will be drawn at the âWin a Car Draw 2011â at the head office of MTA More Than Accountants at
1917 Logan Road, Upper Mt Gravatt, QLD, 4122, Australia on Saturday, 25th June 2011.
5. Employees and immediate family members of the Promoter, agencies or companies associated with the
Competition, are ineligible to enter. âImmediate family membersâ means spouses, parents, children or
siblings, whether or not they live in the same house as the employee.
6. The total prize pool is valued at approximately $15,600.00; however the price could vary at the time of
purchase. There is one prize to be won overall. Major prize: 2010 or 2011 Toyota Yaris.
7. The sharing of the prize is not permitted and the prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, cannot be
taken for cash and is not valid with any other offer.
How to enter
1. Have MTA complete and lodge your tax return (at their Upper Mount Gravatt Head office, Garden City
office (Garden City until December 2010), Aspley office, Victoria Point office, MTA Tax Booths or by an MTA
Mobile Tax Consultant) by the competition closure date to receive an eligible entry into this promotion.
2. Every month from July 2010 to April 2011 there will be a Golden Key draw. There are 100 x Golden Keys
to win. One of these Golden Keys will open the car at the Win a Car draw in 2011. Winners of Golden
Keys will be notified by telephone and by correspondence. Any client who wins a Golden Key must be
present at the Win a Car draw in 2011 to win the major prize. If a Golden Key winner is unable to attend,
a friend or family member can be present in their place. Golden Keys will be handed out according to
Golden Key winning order based on numbers from 1 to 100.
3. The MTA âWin a Carâ competition is a Category 4 promotion as per the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming
Act 1999.
4. Category 4 promotional games are free entry draws conducted to promote goods or services. Any person
may conduct a promotional game. They are normally conducted by businesses to promote the sale of
products. A permit or licence is not required to conduct a Category 4 game however the person
conducting the game must comply with legislative requirements detailed in the Guide for Category 4
Promotional Games.
5. The overarching objective of the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999 is to ensure that, on balance,
the State and the community as a whole benefit from general gaming.
How winners will be determined
1. This is a game of chance; a winner for the major prize from the 100 Golden Key winners will win the car if
their Golden Key starts the Toyota Yaris. Only one key will start the Toyota Yaris.
2. If the winner of the major prize is not of legal driving age, a guardian or parent will be required to act in
place of the winner.
3. In the event that the winning entrant does not claim his or her prize, the Promoter reserves the right to
redraw. If a prize remains forfeited or unclaimed as at 4th July 2011, the Promoter will hold a second
chance draw on the 5th July 2011 at the offices of MTA More Than Accountants Pty Ltd, 1917 Logan Road,
Upper Mt Gravatt, QLD, Australia.
4. If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in
its sole discretion to modify the terms of the Competition including the prize and these Conditions of Entry,
subject to the approval (if required by law) of any relevant government authority.
5. The Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with the Competition and their related bodies
corporate and franchisees and each of their officers, employees and agents will not be held liable for, and
will be held harmless in respect of, any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or sustained
(including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained,
as a result or arising from a winner entering the Competition or receiving, accepting or using any prize,
except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
6. The Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with the Competition and their related bodies
corporate and franchisees and each of their officers, employees and agents accept no responsibility for any
tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
7. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winnerâs parent(s)
or guardian.
8. If for any reason the Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it for another
item, in its sole discretion, of an equal or greater recommended retail value.
9. All claims and entries become the property of MTA More Than Accountants Pty Ltd. Each entrant agrees to
do all things requested by the Promoter to ensure that the intellectual property rights in and to his or her
entries become the property of the Promoter and to provide all consents necessary or requested by the
Promoter in relation to moral rights.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the name and photographs of the winner.
11. The personal information an entrant provides may be used by the Promoter for the purposes of conducting
the Competition, identifying the winner and in any media for further promotional, marketing and publicity
purposes.
