Classic era William Hartnell in the shape of 1966 story The Ark arrives on DVD this month and thanks to the good folk at BBC DVD we have four copies up for grabs!

In The Ark the TARDIS lands aboard a supersize space ship which just happens to be carrying the last remnants of humanity heading out beyond the solar system in search of a new home – all seems well but then Dodo, the Doctor’s companion, develops a cold which threatens every life on the ship.

Wonderful stuff as always and packed full of extras including audio commentaries, a documentary exploring the influence of H.G. Wells on the world of Who, a look at the “Monster” featured in the story, a look at Riverside Studios where many of the 1960′s Who stories were filmed, billings from the Radio Times magazine, production info subtitles and a photo gallery.
