Win a Doc Martin Comedy Cure Box-Set, courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment

Score a box set to this hit comedy series... Just in time for Mother's Day!

The award winning ABC television series, Doc Martin, has released a nine-disc box-set just in time for Mother's Day - good timing! The Doc Martin Comedy Cure Box-Set includes series one to four and On The Edge, sure to have mum in stitches thanks to the tactless Doc and his bedside manner.

Martin Ellingham (Martin Clunes) is a brilliant and highly successful London surgeon until he develops haemophobia (an extreme fear of blood) that prevents him from performing operations. After retraining as a GP, he applies for a post in the sleepy Cornish village of Portwenn.

Dr Ellingham is gruff, abrupt and intolerant, not only in issues related to medicine, but to life in general. His hilarious interactions with the local Cornish villagers and his blossoming, yet awkward, relationship with the headmistress of the local school, Louisa Glasson (Caroline Catz), makes compelling comedy.

For your chance to impress mum with this terrific box-set, let us know what your favourite British comedy series is and why. Please include your name and address. Email to competitions@filmink.com.au
