Just had my first win - double tickets to singalong "Grease". I'm "totally devoted" to Comping Club! Value about $26, small but a night out for us that we didn't have to pay for!!! Only been a member for a week, so I'm really pleased.
Re the above: Was contacted by the promoter and advised that the Cinema I had chosen to see the Grease Singalong at was not going to be holding the show. She offered me the opportunity to go to another cinema but, as I live in a semi rural area, this wasn't convenient. She then offered me 4 tickets to my local cinema to see any movie that I would like and I accepted this offer. I thought it was a good compromise but, as I was really looking forward to the singalong, I am disappointed, especially as it was my first win. And because I had convinced my 16 year old grandson to come with me - that was a feat in itself
So, I will still count it as a win and will still enter this promoters comps as they've done the right thing by me. To all those who get to go to the singalong - have one for me
