1.Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.Entry is open to all residents of Australia over the age of 18 and who enter the competition online at
www.melbourneairport.com.au between 01/05/2011 and 19/06/2011. Competition closes 11:55pm 19/06/2011 AEST with the final draw at 2pm on 20/06/2011.
3.Only one entry per person per week.
4.Correct answers must be supplied for Questions 1 & 2 in order to be eligible to win. The appointed Melbourne Airport representative will choose the winner according to the response to Question 3 judged to be the best (in their absolute discretion) from all entries with correct answers to Questions 1 & 2. Entries will be judged weekly at 2pm every Monday throughout the duration of the competition at the offices of Melbourne Airport. The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
5.To be eligible for each weekly prize, the entry for that weeks’ competition must be received by the promoter on or before 11.55pm each Sunday. Entry for each weekly competition can only be made in the week prior to the judging and this entry is not eligible for any subsequent weeks prize.
6.The weekly prizes are two economy return international airfares departing from Melbourne Airport only and do not include accommodation and are detailed on our website at
www.melbourneairport.com.au. All air ticket prizes depart from Melbourne Airport to the destination nominated by the promoter and may not be changed, transferred or redeemed for cash. Prizes may only be used in the time period specified by the airline supplying the tickets. Some black out periods may apply.
7.The weekly prize value is up to $5,000. Prizes do not include applicable taxes and fuel surcharges, subject to airline and destination. Taxes and surcharges not included will be at the winner’s expense.
8.The winners will be notified by telephone and also by formal letter.
9.It is the winners’ responsibility to have a valid passport and to arrange any visa that might be required prior to travel.
10.Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant or (f) use of the prize.
11.The promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and prize suppliers (airlines). Entry is conditional on providing this information. The promoter or airlines may use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the promoter. All entries become the property of the promoter.
