I could be an NBA commentator. I really feel this is true. I know when to say "MOMMA THERE GOES THAT MAN" and when to point out that a player's shot "just isn't falling." I can pick some plays, can probably give you the depth chart for most teams, and I can draw on any number of dubious 'facts' that NBA commentators like to invoke - one of the favourites being the existence of 300 million basketball players in China.

THREE HUNDRED MILLION. It's fantastic. Imagine being the NBA and looking at the size of that market. But this didn't just happen after Yao Ming was genetically engineered for basketball. It happened because the game has a long history in China, one fundamental of which is Warrior Shoes. As the brand history notes,  it was started in 1927 by a state rubber company. So tremendously legit. Were it not for the modern construction, you'd assume these shoes were being spat out by a time machine. Look at the Clubman - how great are they? I wish I hadn't promised to write about them so I could casually rock them to the pub and be like, "Oh these? Warriors bro. Shanghai. Nbd." Even though they're quietly a bit of a bd.

Thanks to Warrior, we have one pair of the Originals to give away - in either red/white or red/black - you choose. To enter, simply answer the following question.

THIS WEEKS QUESTION:

MOMMA THERE GOES THAT
a) Van Damme
b) man
c) gan bei
d) gran
