The promoters are Australian Capital Territory, represented by Australian Capital Tourism, 5/2 Brindabella Circuit, Brindabella Business Park ACT 2609 ABN 37 307 569 373 (collectively referred to as “the Promoters”).
Competition commences Wednesday 3rd August, 2011 and closes (end of business) Wednesday, 10th August 2011Employees and contractors of the Promoters or members of their immediate families are ineligible. “Immediate family” means spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, siblings (whether natural or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the employee or contractor.
The competition is a game of skill. Entrants must ‘Like’ the Visit Canberra Facebook page.Entrants agree to be automatically subscribed to Australian Capital Tourism’s monthly eNewsletter Discover Unexpected Delights as part of the conditions of entry.

The winner’s details will not be passed on to any third parties.
The Promoters will notify the winner via email by Friday, 12 August 2011Six winners will be selected. Each winner will be selected from valid entries based on the creativity of the answers provided as determined by the judges. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding this decision.
There are 6 double passes to be won. Tickets will be allocated to specific nights. If you are a winner, and have specified a preferred night, you may not be allocated that evening based on our ticket stock and distribution.
Each winner will receive 1 double pass to Floriade NightFest. Tickets can only be used on one of the following nights:
o Wednesday 28 September 2011
o Thursday 29 September 2011
o Friday 30 September 2011
The prize must be used on the allocated evening. All bookings are subject to availability.
The Promoters accept no responsibility for any variation of the value of the prize, and reserve their right to substitute another prize, or component of a prize, without notice to the winner.
The prize cannot be exchanged for other goods and services, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other goods and services.
The Promoters will not be responsible for travel arrangements to Canberra, travel insurance, spending money, any, fuel or ancillary costs incurred by a prize-winner or their travelling companions in accepting the prize.
Prize-winner must utilise the prize according to its validity date, otherwise the prize-winner will forfeit that component of their prize and no compensation will be paid in lieu.
The Promoters shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability will be limited to the minimum allowable by law).
To the extent permitted by law, the winner will exclude, release and forever discharge the Promoters and all other persons involved in the conduct promotion and organisation of any component of the prize, and their respective employees, agents, sub-contractors, consultants (including employees of those sub-contractors and consultants) directors, officers and sub-licensees from all liability for claims, loss damage, costs or expenses (whether arising under statute, from negligence, personal injury, death, property damage infringement of third party rights or otherwise) arising from or in connection with the participation in the prize.
The Promoters will not be responsible for any error, omission, deletion or defect contained in an entry form, or a delay or failure in the operation or transmission of an entry form, or the theft, destruction, unauthorised access or alteration of an entry.
A winner must confirm their receipt of notification within 48 hours otherwise that winner will forfeit their prize. The person with the next best judged entry will be deemed a winner in lieu of the forfeiting winner and will be notified in accordance with this clause.
All entries become and remain the property of the Promoters. The Promoters may use the information contained in an entry as required for the conduct of the competition, the awarding of a prize, and where an entrant has consented on their entry for promotional or marketing purposes.
The Promoters may in their complete discretion, vary these terms and conditions or waive compliance with any term or condition, as they consider appropriate.
